Tanks should be the only role that can spam stuns and boops on 4 second cooldowns
It would certainly make my life easier. Back in Overwatch Uno when you had DOUBLE the tanks to mitigate chain CC people were up in arms about it. Their precious TimtheTatman getting manhandled by Doomfist and blaming Brigitte… It was something else, man. And now, now that you do not have anyone to mitigate it… Nobody cares? You often get hacked into a sleep into another stun and sometimes you are displaced by a boop if you somehow survived despite the anti. It’s not very fun.
No idea why it was a problem with two tanks, but as the sole tank it’s aight. Oh, wait, actually I know exactly why! It’s because it is not a flavor of the month problem. Silly me!
Or you know. Make them actually resistant.
I mean, CC can be a tool to keep high mobility at bay. Just make tanks being imune to CC as long they’re on the ground, aside knockdown encounters.
The lame knockback passive doesn’t cut because while displacement is annoying, shouldn’t even be a thing. Unless were from tank on a tank. Other kinds of CC should be on support but their effects on tanks shouldn’t be a thing.
Debuffs are fine tho.
In ow1, 9/10 times i got chain cc’d started with brig bash. Stun on 5 second cooldown, that you cant just hold up shield forever while she flails and damages you through shield. So swing the hammer on her, boom stun. Pin her, boom stun into knockdown. All other stuns could easily be counterplayed and blocked. Dooms punch was okay to just tank it usually as long as it wasnt into a wall.
Brig was the pooest of the turds. The Turd Queen.
Chain cc happens in ow2 but honestly, im okay with the cc without the 5 second flail on Brig anymore. But the focus fire, now thats impossible to be okay with.
