These tank/dps ques are horrible

15 min que times to win a 6 min illios steamroll?

Bruh im just going to lose rounds on purpose just to play longer.

Why not try support? Or the flex queue?

Flex que just going to que support.

I don’t enjoy support outside of Brig

Role queue pretty much killed this game

Then play Brig! Going by those queue times, the world could always use more supports!

The world needs more support mains. Time to learn some new heroes homie.

The game was losing people well before roleQ. I don’t think roleQ is what killed it at all.

Without it you would guarantee not have anyone willing to play support in the current 5v5 iteration. So no, role queue is not the problem. We’ve been down this path already as a community. The game launched with open queue and no limit hero select. Then it went to open queue with hero limits. And then it went to role queue. The issue with open queue was you’d get teams that went and didn’t play tank and/or support, because everybody just wanted to play dps, and you already lost the game before you even came out of the gate, even if you tried to remedy the situation yourself by playing one of the things that was absolutely needed (tank or support).

I only play Open Queue now, I found out that it’s probably more fun anyway, but I guess I can’t check

Honestly, it is. Queues are less than 5 seconds and people actually tend to play decent comps. Nearly guaranteed at least 2 tanks tho

That’s what makes it fun for me honestly, I find the game more interesting when there are more tanks

They should add another tank to each team, not only will this improve tank queue times, but support will be more fun to play.

Then tell that to the content creators who say they are fine lol

This is why I open-queue… is much a fun

Or even better, 15 min wait to backfill a game that’s 30 seconds away from ending.
You then get ‘priority’ on your next queue which takes….15 mins. I honestly spend more time in deathmatch waiting for a match than I do playing the matches themselves.

Role queue is a fine idea, but in order for it to work, all roles have to be appealing to play.
The game is a shooter, and a large percentage of people come to shoot things. Dps do damage, tanks now do damage with a side of peel/damage mitigation duties……and supports need to pump healing into allies and practically forget doing damage or risk throwing.

Not to mention there haven’t been new support heroes or considerable reworks to draw people back.
