These 3 supports will always be good

It’s a realization I’ve came too a while ago too, Ana, Baptiste, and Kiriko will always be good picks because of how versatile their utility is, being able to both enable teammates and pressure the enemy at the same time, and how flexible they are. I don’t think we’ll see something like Moira, Lucio, or Lifeweaver dominated META over these three being the usual dominant picks on support.

Wether that is a good or bad thing is up to you, honestly I hope we get another support who has just as good utility as they do but not overtuned of course.

The issue isn’t that they’re flexible, it’s that they’re jack-of-all-trades and also master-of-all-trades. They’re not healing specialists and yet their heal output is the best in the game. They’re not damage specialist and yet their lethality is frequently on par with DPSes. They’re not utility specialists, but their utility is stronger some heroes’ ultimates.

Of course heroes who have to specialize aren’t going to be able to compete with heroes who don’t.
