There's something very wrong with stadium matchmaking

Context: I’m currently ranked All-Star 4 in Support, Pro 5 in Damage, and Elite 2 in Tank.

When I queue as Support in Stadium, the matches are well—balanced, competitive, and sometimes even feel easy (in a sense of things are figured out).

But when I queue as Tank or DPS… it’s a nightmare. It’s either a complete stomp in our favor or we get steamrolled—usually 3-0 or 4-0. And when it’s not a stomp, the matches are insanely sweaty, almost always going the full 7 rounds. You can usually tell there’s at least one or two teammates who just aren’t holding their weight.

What really throws me off is that the “higher elo” All-Star games feel way more relaxed, while these Elite/Pro level matches are stressful and frustrating. Even when we win, it feels like we have to completely pop off just to make up for a couple of weak links on the team. Also, mind you, win like this is stresfull, and win in a stomp is just boring.

And in case anyone’s wondering, I’m a Diamond player across all roles in competitive (usually best on Tank, weakest on Support), so you’d expect my experience in Stadium to reflect that. Technically, I could grind out the Tank rank in Stadium, but honestly, I don’t have the mental energy to deal with that kind of stress.

TL;DR: Why do All-Star matches feel easier and more balanced than Elite/Pro matches, even though I’m Diamond in all roles?

Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing the same thing in Stadium matchmaking?

I just started Stadium this week and every game is a stomp 4-0 or 0-4, with the rare 1-4 from time to time. Def doesn’t feel balanced
