TLDR:
This is a constant in this game. This is one of the more stupid/obvious imbeciles using a WalMart aimbot. The amount of soft lock and lock on when over an enemy bots is even worse.
You can’t expect to make one post/replay code and everyone to flock to your side. CC’s aren’t making a big deal out of it and thats how most people get their OW news/opinions.
Plus no one said there isn’t hacking(unless they’re console) but some people like to exaggerate like there’s a hacker in one out of every 10 games in plat or diamond. its completely unreasonable to expect there to be that large of a hacking playerbase in low elo so most people write it off as people being unable to accept they arent amazing OWL players.
You have a similar issue with rigged MM players.
Just go to the well-known cheating forums and you will see that cheating is of course very easy and super cheap. Everyone knows this, but not everyone wants to believe it.
Jay3, Flats, and ML7 all drop cheater games on YT throughout the week. The problem is Blizz just sees it as maybe they’ll buy their favorite skin on the cheating account and do it again after they make another account when they finally get banned.
But thats not making a general complaint. Ill rephrase some, I haven’t seen major twitter threads or rant videos about hacking like monetization, balance, or blizzard leadership. That very well could be because the game is such a dumpster fire.
Also im not sure if it’s people in their games. Samito used to do hacker hunt but most if not all of the hackers were codes sent in by other players.

Anyone playing this game knows this stuff is going on constantly and I do mean CONSTANTLY. Aimbot and see through walls are the worst. (Yeah yeah I know, “footsteps” because that will allow a Pharah to shoot at people around walls from half the map away).
I mean how hacked was Call of Duty Warzone? Both online first person shooters, both games by the same company. Yet Overwatch would be better because…why?
I used to play this game all the time and when I did play it was often times with 2 other people and we all see the same things. There’s people that recognize cheating is bad in this game and the people in denial. That’s all there is too it.

That’s unrealistic. I play warzone2 VERY occasionally so my sample isn’t very good, but I’ve never ran into a hacker in warzone 2 in my 100 or so hours on the game (that was noticeable to any capacity what-so-ever)
How are you defining walls/aimbot? is there a certain point where you cut off with stats? Do you consider people just hitting shots, getting lucky, outplaying you, being smurfs?
Its alot easier to accuse people who believe almost every game has a hacker as being in denial because its an incredibly common excuse for not being good.
I try to be nice to ppl like you but its so hard to bash my head into a brick wall over and over and over and over and over again arguing with people that either A: don’t play ranked, Or B: are so horrid at the game that they can’t possibly conceive that they could lose to a genuine player.
I don’t know if you understand cross hair placement but when you move your cross hair as you take a corner or peak high ground in preparation for people standing there.
I could guess that your “impossible” shots are just flicks.

This guy is saying that fortnite is the most hacked game around. Probably because he gets diffed 24/7 and can’t concede an oz of his overly inflated ego to accept he just sucks.

People certainly have claimed there is less than what some people say. As there are people who think every other game has a cheater in it.
