I would delete this before you get banned like I did for making a very similar post about this godawful, annoying ability.
This is so wrong. The life-biscuit is an immobile target sitting too high to protect via barrier, that cannot receive bubbles or healing itself. Including reaction time it often adds a single second to a character’s lifespan; it’s definitely a powerful ability and a big deal to be able to do that, but it doesn’t take a team of dead players and restore them to full hp instantly.
Frankly it’s way, way more comparable to Sound Barrier or Transcendence, or an AoE Zarya bubble; sometimes it saves a team from an ult storm or blocks what would otherwise be lethal damage, but it doesn’t keep them above critical hp and it’s fragile in high-damage scenarios so there’s the very real danger it doesn’t save people.
No, it doesn’t.
Immortality field does not encourage a playstyle where everyone goes onto the point and intentionally dies. It does not encourage a player to sit out of the fight until the fight is over. It does not encourage people to PRETEND to fight.
