There is a single black pixel on the home screen BTW

This LITTTLE DOT has annoyed me SO much, I don’t get how others haven’t noticed it yet as it has been in the game for multiple seasons, I think since OW2 maybe.

The scroll menu on the bottom right with like the news updates, y’know that thing? Yeah WELL if you hover over the little white arrows to expand/hide the tab there is a singular black pixel on that arrow button. It is ONLY when you hover over it.

It is nothing but my god has it annoyed me :sob:

Haha, amazing. I logged in to look at this, but didn’t find it even when hovering. What graphics settings do you use? I’m on ultra.

If it’s not that, it could be a dead pixel. All I know about single pixel failures is that I returned a laptop once for having one because I read they could spread. Hope that isn’t the case for you. Try opening Notepad or some other bright white app and see if it’s there?

Wait is it just mee??? :sob:

I am on High settings, though I can prob use ultra

Yeah it’s not a dead pixel at all cause it only appears when I hover over the button.

That’s good, and also extremely weird. Go home, pixel. You’re drunk.

I’ll confirm I just checked after reading this and have it lol

I’ll also contribute to this by saying something similar happens with Lifeweaver’s Ghostbloom skin on the hero select skin for me. If you have it, give it a shot.

oh thank god lmao, so it’s just Oranges who is blessed

unfair

Also, you’re welcome now Naz LOL

I can’t not another missing pixel :pensive:

I checked and see it too. Low settings so that doesn’t matter.

You actually just made me look really hard and realize it’s actually on all of Lifeweaver’s skins. His Ghostbloom skin is just the only one with light enough eyebrows that it’s especially apparent. Sooo thanks!

how many frames do you get at ultra settings in game?

NOOOOOoooooooooooooo whyyy

I keep it capped at 165, because that’s my refresh rate.

Ah okay. Is every individual setting on ultra or are they just unchanged from the default general ultra setting

So, kinda weird… The dot doesn’t appear on my LG monitor, but when I move the application window to my Sony TV, the dot appears. And it works in reverse; it’s there when I don’t hover over the button, and disappears when I do. Maybe a resolution or fps difference? Bigger pixels?

They’re all on the highest settings they can be aside from the EPIC x16 texture filtering quality. I have that one on Ultra x8.

More info if you want it: Monitor display resolution is 2560 x 1600, game resolution is the same. 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-12700H 2.70 GHz processor.

I just checked it myself, I don’t have it. Yet I can see it appearing depending on your window or graphics settings.

It’s something with scaling. I have it sometimes if I make the game a window and change the window size. And in different places of the square at that
// Sometimes even a few pixels. That’s funny)

Dying GPU it seems

Probably some weird driver issue or maybe an overlay?

What’s your GFX card? CPU mattery very little in games. It’s all about the GPU. You running a 4090 or something?

I don’t have it, but I also play windowed with a window slightly smaller than my 4k monitor. I figure this issue has to do with resolution or some rendering issue upon scaling the image.

Similarly, I don’t have any issues with markings on Lifeweaver’s eyebrows in hero select screens.

I would update my drivers or roll them back to a previous version
