There’s A LOT more hackers than people think. I was in a game and noticed this tracer using Aim assist, it was SO OBVIOUS his stats were top 0.1% at low diamond level and because of this rating people in the game were like “lol if you think people hack in diamond” Meanwhile if you googled his username it came up on hacking websites… People need to get their head out of their asses… any rank you play you probably have hackers, badplayer + poorly made free hacks = low rating so don’t disregard hacking just because of your rating.

Most people are fine with hacking in diamond (they just must not do it often to not climb out of it). The hacking claims people find silly are down in bronze/silver.
There are a ton of people in Gold-Diamond who should be masters, mechanically speaking. However, they have zero game sense and play very poorly.
Username in overwatch can be the same as each other, the only difference is their battletag.

Maybe in diamond you wouldn’t disregard hacking, since I’ve actually caught someone hacking in diamond all the way back in season 4, I have it recorded still with his confession in a folder on my computer.
But people crying that someone is hacking in like bronze? Chances are very strong that no, they are actually a smurf or just having a unusually good game. Same pretty much goes for gold/silver too.

the problem is that there are too many wolf-criers in gold complaining about hacking when the player can kind of aim.
It’s hilarious that I see gold players repeatedly calling hacker vs players that in my mind aren’t even in the top 20% of overwatch players in terms of aim.
Similarly people are too dumb to recognize obvious hackers, which is why so many people have the gall to suggest that “certain genji player we all know” was just lucky and that if you flick randomly behind and up you will just randomly use a perfect line to the enemy pharah.
Sure the number of possible trajectories are just a few million…I mean anyone would get lucky with those odds occasionally
There people cheating in gold…lots… And getting worse. I played quick play tonight and I literally thought I was playing a cod game from like 10 years ago. The obvious aimlocking and snapping was unreal. “Warden” or w/e AC they had been running appears to be cracked. I also assume somehow the private profile has made people think it is easier to cheat cause you can’t see stats etc.
New private profile account, run whatever multihack I can find/afford don’t worry about people seeing your ridiculous stats. Yup sounds about right. There is still definitely some private “hacks” that it seems will never get detected as I have seen a few basically raging cheaters with gold borders run around.
There are hack sites all over the place that are dedicated to Overwatch specifically. They get tens of thousands of hits daily on each of them. Sorry, but you’re delusional if you think that hacking isn’t a huge problem in the game - even at the lower levels. You can call it silly all you want. But, if some smurf wants to get their kicks driving people insane at the lower levels, what’s to stop them from hacking - especially if they know they can get away with it?
Tens of thousands of hits per day to each hacking site should be resulting in hundreds of bans per week at LEAST. But, it isn’t. I’ve come upon the same person running a tracking bot 4 times in QP matches at lower levels. You can see them tracking perfectly on the kill cam - no matter HOW the target moves, the crosshair never leaves them.
Also, there are some newer hacks with health and damage radius. I have no idea how they are doing the damage radius thing though. I was playing against a Pharah with my own Pharah in comp earlier tonight. The Pharah was killing me in 1-2 shots no matter if I was in the air or on the ground. I couldn’t do any damage to her at all either. She had no pocket healer, she had no healing globe above her. She just took NO damage. And on the kill cam, I could see her shots were landing nowhere near me! So, how was she killing me? Her shots were way away from me. I was hitting her with my shots because I could hear the sound when you score hits. But, NO damage. There was no latency - it was steady at 60. So, that wasn’t the issue. I don’t see how someone could accomplish all of that WITHOUT hacking.

Of course there can be hackers in bronze. Do people think a person who buys hacks instantly appear in Diamond/Masters? Of course not, you still have to rank up after you purchase the hacks.
