Only 5 supports are useable out of the 7, brig was completely killed and bap I could say the same for. Except in total mayhem there’s 6 supports as brig is good in that

I would like to see all the healers get some kind of buff, the only one that seems to be able to hold their own and defend themselves half the time is Zen.

Yeah, seriously. Could we please get some buffs for Baptiste? Brig is problematic, I get that, but why can’t we have a functional Baptiste?

Yup that’s overwatch. Bliz did say that they would add more supports in ow2. So let’s hope they do. Also they need to do a semi rework to brig

If Blizzard wants Tanks to be more “Hog-like” I can only imagine how much they want to mess up the support role.

Brig still works as a pure peel anti-dive sort of hero for ranks below say masters and helps keep a supports alive vs hitscan. She just doesn’t work as a raw brawler front line support like a bull in a china shop. Something that for some reason, living down to their rep I guess, Brig players still have not figured out.

then Bap can still straight up body squishy heroes at range, even more so if team doesn’t have decent shields. A whole lot of “We need hitscan for pharah!!” could be solved if support would just go Bap. He also works fine in a bunker like set up or if the team is heavy clustered and other team isn’t running a good dive.

IMO there is a difference between not being meta and balance issues. Brig/Bap aren’t total trash, it’s that the current hit scan DMG boost or rush brawl style of play favors Lucio/Moria/Mercy more.

I mean I know Healers aren’t DPS, but if you get backed into a corner or focused, it’s basically a death sentence 99% of the time if your team doesn’t come to your rescue. It would be nice to have some healers do a bit more damage when fighting, despite that not being their purpose. Since they are high priority targets, but are also highly required teammates to even have a chance at winning.

Moira Brig and lucio are top picks, ana and mercy are good, bap is meh, and zen is trash

What about for other roles?

Winston and ball for stall
zarya and d.va for set ups (Like grav + bomb)
Simga for a sig9
Orisa and rein are also good
Hog could work

Everyone except widow

Really everyone other than Widow for DPS, I feel like some of the DPS characters suck in there too.

The other 2 just don’t get picked. Yeah, Zen has a higher pick rate/win rate than moira.

Looking at OWL, there’s only two. Mercy and Ana. In the last four weeks, Mercy saw 74% gametime. Ana saw 48% gametime.

It’s way way way easier to rank up with Bapt than it is Ana, Luico, Zen, Brig or Mercy. Just saying. Very underrated hero. Great carry hero for lower ranks.

They were answering my question, about suggestions for total mayhem. Put your measuring stick away, you don’t have to have a opinion war about this.
