After getting aquatinted with the main cast, junkrat tried to do something productive instead of just destroying stuff, so he founds junkrat construction LTD and tries to build an urban villa for the poor.
However, land sharks in the area want the project for themselves so they send hordes of dudes out to wreck the construction site.
Then there is this little tower defense game with president junk tat and foreman roadhog, as well as some other builders to defend the site from increasingly intense hordes of enemies.
Later in the game you would be able to hire other people into junkrat construction, such as tracer and Genji.
There’s also a cutscene where the active crew sings the company anthem after winning a game.

Its sound more like more of the no lore gameplay with haracters just doing random things off story. And would probably be added as mobile phone tower defence than OW2 product i think.
Unless… OW2 is mobile game XD

Junkrat I think is one of the characters that don’t really apply to the lore.
They might be more like people that a hero will meet along the way. Like as much as i hate to call this guy a hero… Hammond. Hammond built his mech in Junkertown, maybe Junkrat or Hog helped somehow

And I have a different theory. I think that most of our “side” heroes will either join Talon or Overwatch, and I think Junkrat will join Talon while Roadhog joins Overwatch. It would make for an interesting dynamic between the two.
Heroes like Hanzo, Baptiste, D.Va, and Pharah will join Overwatch while heroes like Ashe and Symmetra will join the forces of Talon.
Did you just swap Junkrat into Majima role.
