I have had two accounts silenced and now suspended. Heres the issue, I have voice chat turned off and I keep my chat to a PG rating. No curse words or BM.
Blizzard will not respond to me asking simply just why was the account suspended… I have payed money on one for battle pass and now i cant use it.
I have not violated terms of service. If blizzard would do a smidgeon of due diligence, they would review my typed chat and not see anything inappropriate.
Im a tank only player and often time say nothing at all in chat and get relentlessly BM’ed
So i think youre right, ive read elsewhere it helps to diversify your roles to reduce getting chain reported. I have a specific play style where I dont feed to protect bad dps that position poorly.
It is more or less a joke and has killed the entire community.
No one talks anymore or even types most people play with chat entirely off.
It is the only way to play a Blizzard game now.
Fun fact… go look at Diablo 2 Resurrected… the lobbies are full of bots spamming websites to buy ingame items… the games lobby list… full of bots spamming where to go to buy items…
Blizzard does nothing to moderate that game what so ever… Overwatch… they record and transcribe voice chat… with AI…
These clowns aren’t even consistent in moderation across all games on their platform… they are an absolute joke.
Also make sure you check the post count of people responding as I can pretty much assume people with over 1k posts are going to stick up for Blizzard as thats one of the only ways you will ever get a post count that high here.
Accounts should be banned for cheating… and silenced for spouting racial slurs constantly…
That being said… the game literally has a mute and block feature and if you are that upset about something you can mute and block people.
If the people are throwing then report the replay because someone afking etc is actually disruptive most of the time.
Literally had people lie and attempt to get others to report me as they understand and do weaponize this hilarious system. Absolutely ANYONE who has played this game can tell you that the number of social interactions taking place in game are getting less and less frequent and more and more toxic… what they are doing is not working at all.
yup pretty much… I have chat turned off and when my suspended account comes back, im going to turn off ALL CHAT… its sad and its ruined the game… I miss making call outs but people would get mad at my enthusiasm and i also got tired of getting BM’d myself
file for a chargeback on this seasons’s battle pass. That will get their attention.
You are entitled to an actual appeal process …if Blizz does’nt want to do this by default, then hitting them in their money is the best way to get them to do it.
People know their system is automated. If it’s going to cause unfair suspensions, then it isn’t working.
Stop making new accounts and go away. You make a new account to circumvent an action = you will get actioned again on the new account. So just stay silent or away.
That’s a stretch. I talk about Blizzard’s crud all the time here. So do plenty of over 1000 posties. Probably once a month a post of mine gets flagged. Sometimes twice if I’m lucky.
my point is the action is arbitrary and its a problem. There is no set rule like “curse words are inappropriate.” or “continual negative KD well get you fast deranked and eventually removed from competitive.”
Okay but why do you have more than 1 account?
No seriously? Why? You only need 1. Are you boosting? Throwing games? Wanting to play with your lower ranked friends in comp? Which is it. There is no reason to have more than 1 account

Look I’ll put it like this. For a solid year when this game came out, I was a Reaper one trick. Got to high diamond. 3459 to be exact. I wanted to learn Cassidy. I spent like 30 hours in qp getting good with him. I finally felt confident to play him in comp. Went 35 and 0 with him first round I played (never done that again btw).
