The way the dev team handled 5v5 is a huge disappointment

I get multiple people get banned for toxicity and even simple throwing.

The important is to report people, more people report, more easy is to ban this people.

I completely understand, I was only simply talking about how 2-1-2 could retain the original teamplay (that if we had to go down to 5v5).

Also, what you’ve pointed out is also exactly my point, to “reduce queue time for DPS” or even, “please the DPS players” is probably a main contributor to this 5v5 change

Yeah reducing thequeue times is likely the aim.

1-3-2, 1-2-2 both aim to solve the same issue

there are very little tank players, so lets just remove one

The problem isn’t only the queue.

There is a problem, confirmed by Blizzard with shields(hard to balance off tank to be important like shields) and tank synergy, in fact they removed every time big problematic tank synergy like goat or double shields.

The 5vs5 is the best way to solve 3 problems, queue, shields and tank synergy.

Everything about the changes are for the dps players, down to how brawly the tanks are to autoheals on supports.

They want lower Q times for dps with more dps playing tank and support roles.

Yeah but why do 5v5 if you can do 6v6 but one shield ( I mean if you have reinhardt on ur team u cant have sigma or smh ). Just my idea.

I thought that’s what they would do… Create and separate two different tank classes. Wow they really went far left.

This not solve the problem of tank synergy and balancing shield problem.

Like Rein and Zarya is a synergy come out too much often, with 5vs5 is totally solved.

Not having two tanks mean you can buff and change more the single tanks because you don’t need to worry of eventually synergy with others tanks.

5vs5 solve more problems, so is better than keep 6vs6 and limit to one shield.

Anyhoo, I just told ya, that two tank classes would fix double shields, because you wouldn’t have a rein and zarya in one team.

and what? The dps queue is already long ( 10-30 mins average ). And I expect nothing less from dps queues in OW2.

The problem isn’t only double shields, but any type of tank synergy.

Cutting to one tank, will solve totally the problem.

Blizzard will be more freely to balance tanks and create new tanks without need to worry of future tank synergy.

Yeah, but 6v6 is better, 'cause you can have a tank with a shield who protects, and a dive tank, who attacks.

In 122 it’s more likely for players to choose tanks like rein so they can be more defensive.

Devs: show 5v5 and explain multitude of changes to adapt

This is the problem, you have both protection and attack in two heroes.

But rein have an offensive damage even if less for example compared to zarya, and zarya have a defensive skills even if damage is his main point.

This is the problem have two heroes too much complementary, the synergy is one of the problem.

Remove the possibility of synergy will solve any problem.

No because Rein will not be anymore only defensive, but offensive too, they already showed change like two firestrike and the charge change.

But having a tank strong in both attack and defence is better than having a two tanks can work together with both attack and defence.

OP, you do realise that like… thats not the finished product? they literally said it was a WORK IN PROGRESS they literally said that IN THE FIRST 5 MINUTES OF THE STREAM

They did it for other reasons than just that. Im beginning to think that you literally dont have a brain or just didnt use it when writing this post. They also did it because double tank was too oppressive, 10 players instead of 12 would make the game easier to understand (especially for new players), it gives everyone more carry and playmaking potential, and certain heros were really bad or not viable due to tank synergy.

Thats such a stupid thing to say. You know why? because PLAYERS OTHER THAN TANKS CAN COORDINATE AND MAKE PLAYS AND WORK AS A TEAM

Tanks can also work with dps and support, not just with other tanks. How do you not understand that.
