Since July of 2016 when the Ana Origin Story was released, it revealed a photograph of the Original Strike Team. And with them was two unknown Overwatch members who we don’t know anything about. Up until now, they’re still part of the Overwatch lore. The photograph is in the Necropolis map, in the Reflections comic, in Brigitte’s Origin Story video. My question is: Are they still alive in the current timeline and were they important to the team? I hope one day they’ll get released into game as future heroes. Maybe even one of them could even be Hero 29.

They’re probably still alive, in the sense that nanomachines exist in this universe and can overcome death.
Resurrect is actually a non-canon ability, and nanomachines have never been mentioned. Mercy works in nanobiology.
As for those two in the image, I’d like to find out more about them.

I actually think that dude from the picture is part of the talon council, when Akande and Gabe enters the room in the masquerade comic we can see a dude with a similar brown spiky mohawk as for the lady I have no idea

Don’t forget they’re older now. They might have a different hairstyle than their younger selves in the photograph.
you say that but people can keep hairstyles as well and consider its the same type of spiky mohawk and hair color plus its one of the only people you can really make out I mean look at Moira she’s still rocking her old hairstyle mccree and jack using similar hairstyles Tracer and Mercy using the same hairstyles
People say the man might be Emre Sarioglu because he was mentioned before in the first Brigitte teaser about Operation: White Dome. There’s no confirmation, but it’s a possibility.

After the release of Overwatch, the only former Overwatch agent released so far is Ana. Brigitte doesn’t count since she’s just a child related to a former Overwatch agent.

I’m going to assume the worst and assume that they are dead. Reaper’s story is that he kills off old Overwatch members. Maybe they were some of the ones he killed.

I got myself confused but sanjay is on the left as he’s on the left of moira in the next shot but moira isn’t to the right of the mohawk guy who’s on the right but yeah thats why I think they’re the same person they look similar and now that I look again… do they both have their arms uncovered?
I believe so. In the first picture with Ana he’s only wearing the standard Overwatch undershirt. Then in the talon picture he’s wearing a sleeveless tank top style hoodie, it seems.

They could be the same person or not. It’s 50/50 at this point. In my opinion, I don’t think they are the same person. The man with the Talon Council members has what looks like brunette hair and the man in the Overwatch photo has what looks like black hair. Also, the man in the photo could now be in his late 40s to early 50s and probably silver hair and may not have a mohawk anymore. Heck they could even have a full beard instead of the chin beard in the photo. Then again I could be wrong.
Keep in mind that this picture has McCree in it. We don’t know how old the stranger is, bit if he was around the age of McCree he could be in his mid forties now.
