The tank changes are an overcorrection

While the tank roster did need some help, buffing every single one individually as well as buffing armor AND giving them antiheal resistance is way too much.

If anything, just have tanks only take 10% antiheal and call it good. That way, you could check back if things aren’t working and make more changes if so.

It’s Blizzard, balancing the game is never been their strong suit. They have no long-term plan to fix the underlying issues. Just like the game is rock/paper/scissors with heroes so is the Blizzard balance team. Tanks buffs also happen to boost the queue times, how convenient, better make the buffs great, so DPS can stop playing the game and we’re back at whatever option they are at right now with rock/paper/scissors.

They should have never gotten ANY of those buffs in the first place.

Zarya was always broken.
Mauga was always broken.
Orisa was always broken.
Roadhog was always broken.

THEY NEEDED MORE NERFS NOT BUFFS. THESE ARE THE BIG 4 THAT KILLED THIS GAME

This is correct for the people that are at least decent at the game.
Unfortunately, that isn’t all of them.

Who is going to bet that it still won’t be enough.

They are not balancing, they are throwing experiments at the live game.

Let us accept that.

Blizz always overcorrects. Just look at 5v5.

They fixed tank heroes by redesigning them to be brawlers, so they’re now big survivable dps and much more fun to play. But then they broke the tank role by removing one player slot. It’s the most contradictory thing they’ve ever done.

Think about it for a moment. In OW2, tank pickrate is way way waaaay higher in every game mode except 5v5 role queue. You can’t get players to stop picking tanks. But no one wants to solo tank.

Blizz overcorrected with tanks and keeps doing it.

It will never be enough to just be buffing the tanks.
