The only thing I really don’t like here is the range reduction on TP. I feel that’s unnecessary, or at least a bit too harsh. The other changes seem like fair trade off so looking forward to trying these

Glad to see infinite TP gone, but increasing the CD AND reducing the range with the only tradeoff being a faster deploy seems dumb.
Also reducing TP’s deploy, but making full alt fire charge longer after reducing the damage also seems “Why?”, but maybe double projectile will make up for it. We’ll see.
I think just about every time I try to compile a list of Symmetra changes based on my internal thoughts it turns out wayyy too broken.
These changes keep the essential jist of what Symmetra needs, but evidently they’ve done the necessary testing and tuning to keep Symmetra in line. I’ve been calling for faster Teleporter deploy for soooooo long, awesome to actually see it now.
Very happy about these changes.

They nerfed her across the board just to get you slightly faster orbs that are still slow af.
I was right about the longer orb charge time. Steevo was wrong about the hanzo projectile speed. I was right about the devs changing her into a bland orb spammer.
That’s DPS Symmetra in OW2: Horrible utility AND horrbile damage abilities.
I hope people finally realize how awful Sym is in the DPS category.
She belongs in the support category. Just let her keep her utility.

But you can only place one TP every 16 seconds now. On live you can do that every 10 seconds if you destroy it instantly.
3 things i hope never return to Sym is auto aim primary, Shield gen and throwable barrier.

She doesnt fit into the DPS role no matter how many changes they do to her. Especially increasing or lowering damage numbers.
In exchange for greater reliability and faster secondary fire. As I said previously; you can’t expect to get any major changes without giving up some power elsewhere.
Hmm… I’m not too sure about this one either. Faster teleporters for longer cooldowns, and less health doesn’t seem like it would need a range reduction; but the new maps may require some tweaks here to avoid some exploitative gameplay.

this is HUGE in a good way… but that cooldown very long tho. Overall smells kinda like a nerf, but these mechanics are easier to buff than how her kit on live works. See how she works in 5v5 when people have time to practice her and maybe she could get a small buff to tp cooldown or m2, but this is overall a good change. Finally we are getting a good m2 and infinite tp reverted! I can hear zephrin screaming from across the atlantic over this
