the sym rework has made her crazy op. Winston is no longer an affective counter to her and her hitbox is to small when playing as widow. The fact that she can shoot turret is just infuriatingly over-powered and can not be fought against. the only thing that can counter her is pharmercy but that is about to be nerfed with YET ANOTHER MERCY NERF. stop messing with mercy and fix briggite, moira, and symm.

She’s still a VERY situational hero. (a.k.a, Niché) she’s deleted by most if not all the heroes in the roster in less than a second
She relies on her OP AF (Quoting, Jeff Kaplan) turrets to even do anything
Her shield is ignored by 89% of the teammates in team fights
But hey, robo arm makes her look cool!
Edit: Being careful and extremely smart is the key to making her work

She has lost a lot of dps, and not having her barrier leaves her really vulnerable.

She does more dps now, though. Maybe not with her bad primary fire, but her orbs are pretty good.

it is an improvement from 2.0 mainly bcs orbs can kill squishies now but primary fire is so slow and short ranged you always die while using it.
you better not main winston bcs if you do switch heroes or relearn the monkey

She also lacks a little bit of self-preservation now that her barrier has been changed, which means she’s heavily team dependent. The problem with that is that rarely any team wants to play around a Symmetra and automatically suspects the match as a loss.
It’s probably more a player based mentality and I wish Sym wouldn’t instantly be seen as a troll pick but I think the rework could’ve, all in all, still be done better. It’s not made her worse, but more on par with other dps? I’m not so sure… Point is, Sym is the least of all characters that requires a nerf right now. If anything, her primary fire could use a change/buff.

Symmetra was, has and will be always F garbage tier hero, I’ve accepted it at this point and just given up. The recent rework made her even worse and more situational than ever before.

I play in lower ELO too and Sym has never felt overpowered to me. She is also worse now than she used to be.
