It’s running at 30fps and still looks bad
It’s a separate game you have to download
I’ve downloaded the switch 2 one it’s running at 30
nah the actual switch 2 version from the store is still only 30 FPS, it begs the question of what the point of releasing a new version was. it’s maybe just ever so slightly sharper and higher resolution with higher quality models but really the priority should have just been taking the same game and upgrading it to 60 FPS first and then seeing what overhead they have to increase other quality settings
It appears they uploaded the switch 1 game as the switch 2 edition was well by mistake. It just runs exactly the same. You can even confirm in the custom controls ingame and game details in the console home menu that it is in fact the switch 2 edition. no resolution upgrades, or fps changes. Going to the eshop also confirms it’s the switch 2 or switch 1 edition downloaded as well
But the game look a little different
Not only that, this is the nastiest most ungodly input delay I’ve ever seen in my life.
For the love of god ITS AN FPS. PRIORITIZING INPUT IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL.
How the hell are we supposed to aim at enemies when the reticle moves (literally…) a full 1/3 second after we move the joystick?
Looking forward to this all day and it’s borked. ![]()
is the audio fidelity improved any compared to switch 1 version?
Still can’t believe how bad it is
Is the upgrade done by the same Iron Galaxy outsourced team?!

The game looks the same too other then the hair
They can pump out horsesh|te like this and put food on the table. Gimme that job man.
Nothing is different expect for the switch 2 control in the settings I was so excited for this update
Was actually going to download this later until I saw your thread
Don’t I’m so disappointed this definitely can’t be the right version of the game cause it’s so bad, the apex port blow this out of the water
Does the ‘mouse mode’ work on this version? I exclusively play FPS games on PC and would love to have a portable Overwatch on the go, but I haven’t been able to get used to the gyro or controller.
Also, it lacks the Joy-Con mouse mode feature. With an adapter (that mimics the feeling of grabbing a mouse), this mode is really interesting and quite on par with the feeling of playing with a mouse on PC. It is not as responsive (input lag) as a plugged USB mouse because of the Bluetooth connectivity, but it’s definitely exploitable and really fun to play with (better than playing on a controller).
It’s really sad that they didn’t go the extra mile. This was a feature that I (and a ton of other players) were waiting for.
- Fixing resolution (higher than just 1080p in docked mode)
- True « up to » 60 fps in both modes (handheld and docked)
- Fixing input lag for controllers and USB M&K (which is a bummer for a fast-paced hero shooter)
- Adding JOYCON MOUSE MODE (PLEAAAAASE)
And that’s what you could call a true «Nintendo Switch 2 Version »

They have only acknowledged the difference in FPS in the main bug forum post, but I do hope they implement use of the mouse feature on Switch 2 I mean, come on. It’s right there.
Literally- would love to try mouse mode on SW2
