The devs have never reworked or adjusted the core identity of the hero. Which is the problem people have with her
I totally understand them not wanting to change who the hero is fundamentally, but When THAT is the main problem with why the hero is hated then dodging around that and changing other things is never going to actually fix the heroes core issues
It’s a flawed balance philosophy. People hate hero because of X so unless you change X nothing changes. Messing about by adjusting Y and adding Z doesnt address the fundamental issue that X is still prevalent
This is why hog is STILL an issue. What is hogs identity. His hook. Why do people hate playing against hog? His hook. What have they literally never touched? His hook. They have added new abilities. They have nerfed other aspects of hogs kit. What is still there? His hook. Its almost like not touching the thing people hate and dodging around the issue doesnt fix the hero and he is still hated.
This is why widow is still an issue. What is widows identity. Her 1 shot. Why do people hate playing against widow? Her 1 shot. What have they never touched? Her 1 shot.
See a running theme??? When a heroes core identity is the issue they refuse to change that core identity and therefore the hero is never actually addressed. I totally understand not wanting to change a heroes core design but when THAT is the issue then you have to change it cus dodging around the issue isnt solving anything
