These are the Dafran fanboys. Most go crazy when Danteh pops off on Sombra, but here we are where she is getting so much hate for seeing play. People wanted a counter to GOATS and she IS THE COUNTER.
If Atlanta ran Sombra, yall know they would be praised for exploiting GOATS. People claim the hero is broken when Danteh proves again and again hes one of the best Sombras in the league.
I dont mean to come off as aggressive. Im just a bit mad people are making my main the new “problem hero”.

On one hand, there is no denying her ult is insanely strong and she needs some changes. On the other, I would prefer there is a poison to deal with another poison.

Your main’s always been a problem hero with terrible design. She’s just always been sleeper OP and now she’s finally getting spotlighted and it’s much more obvious.

This is nothing new.
This community has always had an irrational problem against Sombra being vaguely useful to the point where it borders on delusion.
She’s never been OP, she’s never been meta, she’s never enjoyed an average pick-rate higher than 2% nor a win-rate higher than the 40s, there’s no statistical evidence that suggests she’s overperforming, yet whenever she’s seen as a fairly good pick everyone starts throwing hissy fits and soiling themselves.
And of course leave it to the Twitch community to be hypocrites, whine when there’s GOATS and whine when something comes along that can fight GOATS, never take the Twitch community seriously.

My problem is that Sombra is never percieved this way on ladder. Most wont go through playing against a Sombra like Dantehs. They want her nerfed so even the pros cant use her.

Is she really a counter when she just gets slotted in with no other comp changes? We still consider Winston, Mei, Ana, or Moira variants GOATS, despite not being the specific 6 heroes that have dominated the meta.

if playing GOATS to win is potato mode, beating GOATS with EMP is just french fry mode.

Sombra is a sub-optimal pick unless you have a coordinated team.
Any nerfs to EMP would need to be counteracted by buffs to her kit elsewhere

Sombra isn’t problem in the ladder. She requires a lot of teamworks+shotcalling to be effective with. Most people claiming she’s op don’t play her. Although I’ll say infinite invisibility +translator lowered her skill floor and ceiling a lot.
As for OWL: teams are organized. However, they haven’t played aganist sombra goats for a long time. However, most teams are learning fast and using supports ult effectively to counter her.
I’m a fan of dafran. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t have a balanced view.

I made a topic saying EMP is strong, but I don’t think Sombra deserves a nerf. For the majority of the player base, she’s a throw pick.

I would honestly be fine with an EMP nerf and buffs to the rest of her kit to compensate.
EMP is too strong against a comp that is literally the best possible composition you would want to see if youre a sombra

That’s because the second she’s some what close to meta, you no longer get to play the game, unless you stick to strictly M1 heroes like reaper/soldier 76/Mcree. Anyone that doesn’t have a strong M1 that can defend themselves without abilities is utterly infuriating to play against Sombra. So even in an almost worthless state she gets massive and hysterical level of complaints.
What I will say is, there is a reason people scream so much. Because she makes them that angry, balance isn’t always what matters. Sombra, like doomfist and Brigitte, were a mistake on Blizzards part. Even Ana’s sleep dart was a step in the wrong direction.
