People blaming “smurfs” for their loses when they can’t blame their teammates.
How would people know? Levels are also gone.
My point is: someone needs to get blamed, cuz got forbid you blame yourself.
Sometimes its just obvious that you play vs a smurf. Dont protect them. If I lose? Then fine. But please dont put me vs a low rank Genji that solos the complete team or a Widow that has 70%+ scoped acc.

I don’t know what I’ve seen more of on this forum - people calling legit gold Genji’s a smurf cuz he got a free kill on them, or gold genjis that claim they “solo carried” while having nano+ damage boost + matrix on them.
I mean…Maybe she’s hitting body shots on Hog the entire game
I have no idea and maybe you are not in such a low rank that you are affected by this at all but YOU KNOW when you play vs one. Its not the “oh he has a nice game”. Its more like cheating. Why do you want to protect those people?

This is a huge problem with OW community. The assumption that Level has anything to do with smurfing.
Smurfing is playing in a rank far lower than you belong. You can do that by throwing on a high level account or starting a new account, throwing and then making sure you lose a bit to keep from climbing from performance.
Far to many top 500 players sitting in gold on their 1000+ hour account with people saying “but its high level they can’t smurf lololol” while the open profile clearly shows a 80% win rate on Genji and a 10% win rate on soldeir.

I don’t want to protect them and I don’t care for them. Smurfing is the most stupid and boring thing you could do in overwatch.
My point is that people here always blew it out of proportion 560% to how many smurfs there actually were in their games…
It is so overblown that it won’t even die with sms protect.

Some ppl will always complain, but one thing was certain there was ALOT of Alts and Smurfs in ow1, there won’t be in ow2 and that’s a good thing
Have you maybe considered the fact that people that dont have those problem just dont write that they have no problem with them? If 10 people have problems with smurfs daily but 2000 are not you bet that those 10 people will be mad and write about how stupid this is.
Its almost as stupid as this thread because it serves no purpose than to… what exactly? Tell people to shut up when they get smurfed?

The scoreboard is pretty good too see the weak link.
There are a lot on PC. Now Xbox and PS4? I am not sure what word best describes just how many smurfs are on console but it is a silly amount.
