With Archive’s being removed and Anniversary being moved to September, Lunar New year is the only seasonal event in the entire first half of the year, and it’s always been the most underwhelming event and is even smaller in overwatch 2. There is also pride month now, but all they do for that is add a few decorations to one map.
I get that the seasonal themes and their modes fill a lot of the same roles that seasonal events did in Overwatch 1, but I still think a 5-6 month gap without any each year is a bit too much. Like it’s kinda odd how they introduce the event battlepass thing and then go 2 seasons (and there’s a decent chance it’ll be more than that) without doing another one
