Trully no idea, HOW, they manage to do it; but they keep dumping content in the sewer, with the worst possible player experience, I can recall from this game

Played 21 matches I only won 4. Game has a bad matchmaking system. I’m not going to put any more time in this game. I had teammates that have never played before. It was a truly frustrating experience.

All what they introduce in this “bold evolution” season (Perks…) made me think to abandon the game until they reverse these changes

The amount of cheaters and bad MM has gotten worse, and Mercy is once again the worst support in the entire game, she has the worst perks.

150 healing on cooldown? how is that bad?
Try MR , you can get into GM by just being a decent support. Also there’s no stinking static meta( besides banning Wolverine and Storm).

It’s her only perk that’s not trash but it is a major perk and Mercy’s perks charge slower than other supports’ perks cuz she has no AoE and no dmg.
Not to mention the 150 hp gets neutered by the dps passive anyway.
Her perks are crap.
15s for one burst heal is worthless and it doesn’t even apply AoE in Valk.

I did run into an aimbotter who was playing Mei. That was an experience for sure.
Now I feel that bitter pain that people share when leave game and make posts about it

Mostly escort maps though.
Probably 40% stomps one way or the other.

There is a pretty lengthy delay before the burst actually happens. Its not instant. Its kind of weird to use. I’d say the double offensive beam is stronger. Mercy has nearly always been about using damage boost in more consistent leveling up. The best Mercy’s almost always have a very high dmg ratio AND still manage to heal well.
Its not entirely about what levle you play at. Its about isolating which is the best player on your team and helping them out usually. Or the best player in the right situation. Having a potential double damage boost target is helpful.
I had some very cool games in competitive, some even lasting 30 minutes and going to 7 points.
But quickplay is pretty much unplayable once again. You can see they can do okay-ish matchmaking when you look at comp, but for some reason they refuse to use the better algorithm in quickplay. They seem hellbent on chasing people away to other games that actually do have semi-decent and more strict matchmaking.
The summary of my day 1 of S15 experience:
- 12 QP Open Role matches played today (to complete all week 1 event challenges)
- 8 wins (3 stomp + 1 POTG as Rein) - 4 losses (2 stomped. 1 because a Mercy in my team refuses to rez anyone)
- Mainly tank role as Mauga, Rein, and D.Va with occasional DPS as Reaper and Bastion.
And here’s a neat little part: All without using a single perk (went as far as unbinding the perk key because: why not?).
I can kinda understand it, honestly. I haven’t tried her out yet, but I quite like the look of Mei’s perks. While it sucks that it takes a while to get majors online, minors only take about a minute or so, so I figure she can at least get extra range on the beam online fairly quickly.

Mei can spam ult this patch and idk why. Maybe the passive damage during ice block.
