The scoreboard is unhealthy for this game

Don’t dodge my question.

It’s weird when someone chooses damage numbers as a hill to die on too. A Widow hitting her shots with lower damage is more impactful than whoever is dumping bullets into tanks and having no kills to show for it.

Lol you’re funny. When I typed about widow I didn’t even see your question! If you can’t see why scoreboard is helpful then I can’t help you.
You keep your pawsitivity. Have a good day and fun policing every topic on the forum!

You’re dodging the question because you know the answer contradicts the statement you just made.

For reference, what you just said and the question:

You’re cherry picking. 0 death low dmg? How about that? Dps Moira shows no heal team wipe how about that? Jesus.

I’m no cherry picking. It’s a straightforward example, numbers don’t lie after all.

You got that right finally. Numbers don’t lie. Well done :+1:
Next step is to try figure out how can you use numbers to help figure out who in the team is underperforming. Numbers don’t just mean dmg btw.
Now have a think about that.

If you can dodge shots like you can dodge the question you’d be an OWL player in no time

I’m not too fond of flaming teammates in general, but do you honestly think players even stop to consider the context of why someone’s underperforming even for one second before they start flaming them?

Do you honestly believe players will only get toxic towards others when someone is blatantly underperforming and not just underperforming in general?

We win the match, the enemy team has more healing but it doesn’t matter because their healing didn’t help them win, clearly. I even got POTG as Zen so my DPS didn’t exactly have any big amazing moments.

DPS on my team: yOuR sUpPoRtS wErE bEtTeR

I did not dodge question. You are trying to frame it to suit you. They give you a set of numbers so you can analyze the performance. You choose one number when in reality you look at multiple numbers to to assess the performance. I did give you a hint about numbers don’t just mean dmg? Is it that hard?

You didn’t dodge it, you just maneuvered in a way that let’s you avoid answering it.

Aka yes you totally keep dodging it lol.

I’m providing an example that pretty clearly disproves your narrative that these numbers are super straightforward.

Different numbers mean different things on different heroes and on different comps into different heroes and into different comps.

You may look at multiple numbers to assess performance, but let’s not delude ourselves into thinking that’s the norm.

How 'bout you answer the question lol

I wish the scoreboard did more.

Show the number of interrupts Sigma got with rock, or how many hacks Sombra did, or how many rezzes Mercy completed.

There’s a lot that heroes are doing to save a match that is not just killing, but the scoreboard doesn’t tell this. I’ve gotten yelled at finishing some matches lowest on elims with Pharah and they claim we won because of “support diff”. Yet we won because I was completely shutting down and knocking back enemy supports and they couldn’t save their tank for anything.

Scoreboard doesn’t highlight strategy of any kind. It often justifies the players who mindlessly feed enemy tank ult gain by shooting them all day and not the supports.

I find the scoreboard has reduced toxicity compared to Overwatch 1. It used to be much worse.

Sometimes the scoreboard doesn’t lie. It can clearly show you the weakest link on your team. It also highlights how bad the matchmaking is,

Most of the time I think score board as something to tell what I’ve done during the match. But for today I start to think the same way you do like after we lost one of our DPS blame me as support for dying during match. Yes, everyone in the team die 5 time equally. Then this weirdo still not satisfy still come to me via PSN account talking about the 5 times dead. I really don’t understand this idiot since everybody die together in equal number why keep bringing dying number. Especially the fall of team come from DPS that fail to match opponent’s DPS that cause the team fall.

I use the scoreboard to make sure I’m accomplishing something. Is my KDR 1/1? Maybe I should switch. Do I actually have 7 elims and the next highest number on my team is 2? Maybe I don’t need to switch. Wait, am I playing Moira? Maybe I should hang out with my team more…

is a lot less toxic than medals, we know for sure who is the load of the team

OK, I’ll step in to answer this question then

It’s a trick question; we should be looking at the elims column instead (and maybe assists in Sombra’s case), and probably the deaths column too

One step further, focus on playing your own game instead of asking for yet another feature to be removed.
