Orisa is a tank that was reworked to become more of a brawl tank then balanced to become a poke tank once again. The expectation that orisa goes in and brawls is immediately thrown out by her just holding a corner and cycling cooldowns to poke.
Everyone hates orisa like this. And she’ll keep getting microbuffed into being meta then nerfed into uselessness. Its an endless cycle since shes too strong in her sustain yet sucks at taking space.
My idea is too make her a fully dedicated brawl tank. Here are my ideas

Fusion driver falloff reverted to before they removed falloff.
(This forces her to take close duels) -
Melee replaced with a spear sweep.
(Slightly more melee damage and range compensated by
slower melee speed. -
Spinny spear replaced by a new ability: spear rush.
Spear rush is a third person charge that gives orisa fortify(does not grant overhealth) any enemy hit by this charge will be knocked back and damaged. Jumping during the charge orisa will leap into the air and slam down with her spear. The range of the attack increases the longer orisa spends in the air. Jumping also causes her fortified effect to stop. Opening her up to counterplay. She can chain her slam into her ultimate.
The idea is that orisa can still push enemies but no longer eats things like defense matrix. Making it a movement tool used to take space.
Also the idea is that you push an enemy then jump on them to combo. Making orisa a true brawler. -
Fortify remains the same but functionally changes. The goal being that fortify is used to sustain through a brawl and used mid fight. Fortify being her only sustain cooldown significantly increases the window of weakness orisa has. However the new charge ability grants her the offensive capability she needs to take space.

Ult remains the same except the fortify effect no longer grants overhealth whilst ulting in. Orisa ult currently can feel underwhelming but combined with her new slam she becomes more lethal in close quarters brawl.
My goal with this would be to make orisa a close quarters threat that is limited at range and doesnt have a sustain cycle anymore. Opening her up for counterplay. Like this orisa is no longer the crossing guard of numbani but truly the defender of numbani.
