I couldn’t be more disappointed with this patch, and the rest of this season is just going to be an absolute loss. Do bear in mind that unless the developers step in and hotfix some of these changes, we’re stuck with this until season 6.
If it wasn’t blatantly obvious, Sojourn and Soldier, if not both, with a Mercy pocket are undoubtedly going to be meta for high elo, so that’s great. Woohoo, another double hitscan meta. 
We got Lucio Ball for the seventh year in a row and Winston Volleyball, which I’ll admit is fun, but the event is only going to last until July 25, leaving us just over two weeks with no content after the event ends.
We got a new game mode called “team queue,” but they forgot to add the one feature that actually allows this game mode to function as intended, which is the LFG. “I can’t play the mode if I can’t find anyone to play with.” Absolute geniuses!
You would think Blizzard would want to fix everything and get their balancing in check for a nice smooth transition into season 6, but that clearly was not their priority, and they’re definitely going to have some serious problems if they let this go unchecked.
The only legitimate W to come out of this whole event and this patch was the tropical Doom skin and Winston volleyball; everything else is an absolute L.
