I see that the devs are trying even harder to make the game better, but as you try harder, the outcome is always worse. This PTR patch better change A LOT before it’s released on all platforms. This patch will devastate this game, and on top of the terrible events that have been released, Overwatch will die in a year.
(Edit) Heres your reasons:
• Brigitte is literally going to be the worst pick because of the shield, and the half heal from Inspire. 200 HP is terrible for a shield, and certainly not enough to survive.
• Sombra’s hack cast time as well as EMP cast time was made much longer, making her nearly useless in high ranks and diamond.
Overwatch already appears to have been on a downhill slope for a while, but if anything I think role queue will bring a refresh to the game. What I don’t like about this thread however is the lack of reasons as to why it will be bad for the game?
Quite a few heroes will need to be re-balanced I imagine.
People also complain about snipers, tanks, healers, and just about everything else in the game. Part of me believes that they don’t even play anymore and just want to start something. Now that’s not all of them, however the amount of people that complain are not all the players. I’ve asked in game and the majority say they don’t care.
Brigitte is being turned more healer less tank, something the forums asked for very, very long. Most of the changes on the heroes were stuff people were asking for frequently (including Sombra nerfs). So basically, the forums just want to complain no matter what it comes.
Like even if hero 31 is a pansexual black Spanish jet pack cat people will complain why he’s not a redhead.
And every year players bleed out. Older competitive games have a much better following right now and are getting new players easily compared to OW. which seems to struggle attracting new ones.
What constructive and informative feedback. Thank you for providing the devs with such a clear idea of why you believe this patch is bad. I’m sure they will be able to use what you have provided to create the perfect 2/2/2 balancing.
