So I’ve downloaded Overwatch 2 on launch day and after a while I had the chance to get in. However I wasn’t able to play because the PS5 version of Overwatch 2 has a PC overlay and I can’t do anything with the controller. I’m stuck in the menu.

It’s a rare issue and it’s tied to your account.
I have made a post about it myself, my son can navigate the menu on the same PlayStation but my Account can’t …
For me it’s “ESC” and “ENTER” after login for my son it’s “Option” and “L3” very weird.
I suggest to open up a Ticket with Blizzard Support. I already did that in the hopes of getting this issue noticed by Blizzard.

Well, if you were able to fix the problem it would be great to share it with us😁, because I opened a ticket, but Blizzard isn’t answering. It would be nice to have a solution.

No fix. Just been playing on an alt account using my dads phone number.

This post is the one Blizzard linked me to which is kind of hilarious, but this is what they just said to me.
Game Master Ixzal here and I apologize for the longer than normal wait times! With the Wrath of the Lich King Classic launch, Hearthstone’s latest updates and the Overwatch 2 launch, we have been very busy. We are working as fast as we can to reply to everyone and get these wait times back to normal.
I can totally understand how these PC controls showing on the PS5 would be upsetting. It’s never fun having your free time and gameplay interrupted. There was a bug that was being investigated and should be fixed now.
Except its not fixed for me. Anyone else still having the problem?
