I cant afford to wait the single day of the week my “equal” friends group up. I neeed a game to play 24/7 when i want WITH EQUAL ENEMY and TEAMATES and not enter a PRE - ARRANGED 10minute matches, that i get eliminated at the door and then win at hello
I posted a whole topic on this somewhere on the forums, but I’d like to issue a formal apology directly to your account so you are more likely to see it. I want to apologize for attacking you and your favorite hero with some comments I made on this thread. I got a little heated and said some pretty aggressive things. I am sorry that I said these things. I am sorry I replied so hatefully.
Wait, weren’t you leaving the game?
Blizzard did fix a lot of the issues I talked about here, especially the lore aspect, with the release of retribution. This and some of my other IRL friends are getting into the game, and I want to see if I can still have fun while playing with them.

It’s certainly sad how they’ve treated Mercy players, with complete ignorance and I feel false hopes too.

Me, my husband and our group of initially 8 people, have all quit playing overwatch because of poor balance, poor dev choices, poor matchmaker and poor competitive experience.
I come by here every now and then to see the news and what has changed in hopes of maybe reinstalling the game. I loved the lore and the world, but I think it’s beyond saving point to me already. I just regret buying merchandise and some loot boxes. I’ll be wiser next time around IF I ever buy anything from Blizzard again. To have a game turn into a complete different game than the one I bought is a first for me lol. Never again.
Well, to be fair if things don’t ever improve on Overwatch and it doesn’t make a big u-turn in a positive way then this will be the last Blizzard/Activision game I purchase. There won’t be second chances from me. This was the first game I purchased by Blizzard.
This has been the only Blizzard game I have purchased so far. I am interested in WoW and think that HOTS looks okay, but I agree. I don’t know if I’d buy anything else from Blizzard/Activision as of the moment, unless they release a new IP.
Just coming back to re-bumb it with a comment. Really need blizzard to see this and give a response, be it a more informational or negative, trying to reflect these truths.
Either way we would be certain of something.
Either they know these issues exist and tend to ignore it until the time comes to talk about it.
Or they will try to deny the facts and royal-y screw up, providing even more evidence against them.
Balance is really not any better in WoW or HoTS. And just check out the HoTS forums. Their matchmaker has the same complaints as here, in both their QP and Comp.
Matter of fact, I swear they just ripped the matchmaker from HoTS to Overwatch.
They also use the same type of automated report and silence/ban system in HoTS. The forums are usually filled about that, too.
As for WoW, you’re safe if you’re a Druid or Death Knight. Otherwise, roll the dice on nerfs. Unless you’re a Hunter or Paladin, then no dice needed, you’ll get nerfed to hell and back.
And each expansion you’ll lose more abilities than you gain. Just look-up WoW Ability Pruning.
Hearthstone? Nah, they don’t balance over there. If they nerf a card, it is a guarantee to be utterly useless afterward.
Blizzard has never been known for being able to balance worth a lick. They’ve always done it with a sledgehammer.

Update:
Jeff recently made a forum post saying that Deflect hitbox will be fixed, as well as giving an ETA but admitting it might take longer. This is another good step as it shows some form of listening and is finally giving us ETAs.
It doesn’t allow people to flex. Ever. Some people are only good at 1 or 2 heroes from each category
Something I find quite amusing - at least in the first few pages, most likes go towards posts like OP’s, posts agreeing with them, rather than the ones saying “who cares”, “bye lol”, etc.
Anyone who says that nobody cares is clearly misguided - if it gets to the point where there’s multiple leaving threads every day that provide insight on what’s wrong with the game and the issues that are making them leave (which, by the way, seem to all be the same problems - balancing, updates, meta, bugs.) then maybe it should actually be a concern?
You would lose the most fun hero in the game.

Just a matter of the fact that the forums hate tracer…
Might go to Fortnite or Rainbow Six Siege soon because it’s so toxic and sweaty here lately. Also, Overwatch isn’t really a friendly community anymore since the toxic ooze got by Blizzard.

I’ve been playing more Fortnite, Pokemon, and League recently. A few of my friends (as I previously stated) have gone to R6 and enjoy it a lot. Have fun in whatever game you want to go to.
