Is that the only counter to Widowmaker is herself.
If I was in charge I’d erase her from the game completely, but she needs looking at. A few nerfs would bring her down to level.

Ive been queuing as DPS lately (sym, ashe) and you’re right.
Games very often become “who has the better snipers” and it just feels bad that I cant do anything and we lose games because I didnt learn to play snipers instead
Even if I land a headshot on Widow, and she lands one on me, I die and she lives. Same with fighting a Hanzo

Best counter is get rid of counters mentality at first place, and use knowlege of her positioning, poke damage and avoid her sight lines + communication - this is the best counter. I am Ashe main now at mid masters, and there is no problems with widows, unles they are just better players which is obviousely define who wins as it should. If you willing to counter wm as wm by yourself - just do it if you feel so. I’d rather prefer to play smart and use enemy wm as a weakness of enemy team.
