The problem with the sun on Watchpoint: Gibraltar

On Watchpoint: Gibraltar the sun is a little too bright especially when you’re looking at it from under this bridge. It’s blinding. I know that “god rays” are useful for making maps look extra pretty, but this is a little too much.

Please tone down the brightness of the sun on this map. Thank you.

The sun is also quite bright on the practise range.

My gamma, contrast and brightness settings for reference.

Well you’re playing on the highest graphics of course it’s going to give you the best possible rays etc… lol

Correct me if I am wrong I don’t believe god rays are affected much on lower settings in this game.
I mean there are no specific settings for them.

Noticed this too, damn my eyes.

I assume the sun will always be bright when looking right at it

But wow, that it bright…

Yeah I know lol, but when you’re defending the payload from under that bridge the sun is quite distracting.

Set lighting to ultra if your computer can handle it.

holy even on the lowest setting with 75%
the sun is still bright

For me its the hardest map to see not only the sun under the Bridge, the light overall. I have most problems to see at the last point of this map, when you attacker and go up the street.

Up your brightness to max coward, feel the sun burn through your skull

No, the sun is beautiful in this game. Maybe your screen can’t display colours right zo you lose all details?

Ur settings yikes. Its so non competitive!

Well many people play on low settings i think it looks different with low settings.

I completely agree!! When bliz changes some of the maps during events and makes them night time is sooooooo much better! Just wish we could choose to play on maps at night not day time…or have them move the sun to not be right in your eyes all the time
