The priority pass equals ZERO

Says less than 2 mins q time, i get 8.
Plus the tank role now has even more bad players (including me) farming the tickets.

Remove it. It added nothing worthwhile to the game.
Q times are still bad, tanks are even worse.

People always say the QP tanks suck, but hasn’t that always been the case before priority pass?

Who will be playing at the rank reflective of their capabilities. Ie - other bad players if they themselves are bad.

The priority pass system is fine.

I do however feel it grants too many passes. 6 for a win and 3 for a loss I’d too much imo.

its way worse than before by a large margin. its dps mains flailing around for free passes.

the lack of tanks is and has always been a blizzard balance issue.

Maybe then they’ll discover why nobody plays tank

But honestly I have not noticed a drop in quality since priority pass

Tanks are strong right now, and always have been. People dont enjoy playing them, has nothing to do with their power.

The listed queue times that are shown when you click for your role are merely estimates. What makes you think that is how long you will actually wait? Neither Blizzard nor anyone else has any way to see into the future to give you an exact number.

nobody plays tank because they consistently nerf tanks.
only two tanks could ever be good at once pre 2-2-2, and they balanced as such, and post 2-2-2, they still dont balance like goats is impossible. tanks feel bad to play, and they have the most responsibility.

i could go on. they release sigma KNOWING it will cause double shield meta because of burst damage and weak off tanks, oops?

hammond. oh you mean i get to solo tank while a guy parkours around the map as a ball. sounds fun.

doomsfist release, brig release, mei buffed, off tanks in the gutter.

they have consistently made this game less fun for tanks.

tanks are almost as weak as they have ever been.

Yes, there is no way to tell exactly how much you’ll have to wait. But estimates are based upon something, aren’t they?

And yeah, I think the issue here is that too many people have passes. One game full of flex people = 54 tickets. So far I haven’t noticed any change in queue times, because why would I be placed in the queue faster than other people with tickets?

How about gettin rid of those USELESS estimates then? And along with that, the priority passes too.

Yeah it works a bit, but not really.

The one thing they need to switch is to give tickets for 3 losses and not just one to make it so that those who just go sperg on the queue for tickets don’t get value out of it unless they try to win

Balance, how about the actual count? There are very few tanks to play. And very few of them are even appealing…
“Woah, cant wait to play some more sigma, rein, or some more orisa…”

I like priority passes. I think it’s a cool system. I’ve never had an 8 min priority queue though. For me, dps priority queue is always under 2 mins.

and yet, rein was so popular he was the second most picked tank, in dive meta.
two nerfs ago dva was so popular, she still got played, in double shield.

its balance. your desire to play a tank is irrelevant to the fact that up until goats, ball, doomfist and brig tanks were plentiful.

Why? Estimates are just information, and even if they aren’t right 100% of the time, they likely are indicative of the time needed to wait for most people, so having an estimate isn’t hurting anything. In my experience I noticed that Priority passes have reduced queue for everyone since more people appear to have been flexing and filling those needed roles.

In addition, the passes are great for tank and support mains like myself, who are only occasionally interested in playing the DPS role. For those of us who tend not to play the DPS role and thus have lots of passes to use, the DPS queue remains a fast queue and thus more of an incentive for us to venture into the role.

It is for both of these reasons that Priority Queue was a fantastic addition by the Overwatch Team, and they should be applauded for its much-needed addition to the game.
