The playoverwatch Twitter keeps

…posting about the Cat Cafe in Kanezaka. Is there maybe a hero hint in there that we are missing? They’ve posted about that part of the map specifically like 3 or 4 times now.

Thought the twitter was just Overwatch. Wondering if it was a new one.

It’s not just Overwatch Twitter; OWL Twitter has been doing it too

…its a cat cafe. If I had a cat cafe in my first person shooter I’d probably tweet about it a lot too.

Anything with cats is social media gold. It’s probably just cat content rather than hints.

I would not, would be very embarassing

Not from a marketing standpoint. They’re cats.

from a social standpoint posting about an in game cat cafe instead of adressing the game is a bit odd

I’m not gonna disagree with that lol.

The official Overwatch Twitter accounts include:

Other official feeds you should consider following:

  • @BlizzardCS - The official twitter feed for Blizzard Entertainment Customer Service. Alerts about service outages will be posted here. You can also tweet them for quick tips to resolving common problems.

Wait. Is this foreshadowing for a Jetpack Cat?

It’s getting pretty excessive now like…

There aren’t even cats in it!

Thanks for the list. More than I thought.

No problem, I recommend do following @PlayOverwatch and @BlizzardCS for sure as most critical updates will come from those two feeds. On a “shameless plug” note, I also run an unofficial feed called @dropswatch which provides scheduled updates on when certain in-game rewards are available to earn such as Twitch Drops, Overwatch Contenders skins, and in-game timed promotions like seasonal events.

Someone else even commented that as a DM map they couldn’t care less no matter how much they keep pimping it. Great, okay, we got Kitsune … when?

They probably post about it a lot because the cats in there belong to the devs?

Also - probably a way to attract all the weebs

People (especially on the internet) really like cats. Cat cafes are a mega popular idea. The cats pictured are drawings of the OW team’s cats. There’s a lot of reasons to post about it imo

It’s not like Petra, which is a bunch of rocks and Chateau which is basically a stone dungeon. There’s actually stuff to look at in this map, a ton of it.

Plus they probably wanna promote the heck out of whatever content they CAN put in OW1, either to give off the impression of “look everyone, our game isn’t dead!” or to get people talking before Blizzconline gives us (on my hands and knees praying here) some actual content to discuss and get hyped for
