I was skimming through Netflix one day, bored out of my mind and trying to look for things to watch since I don’t feel like rewatching shows I already finished. Oh wow, “Carmen Sandiego.” My first thought was “Wait, they decided to make a cartoon out of it?” And then I decided “Eh, why not?” and began to watch

The very first scene of the first episode has 2 people driving in a car, a Detective and his assistant. The Assistant starts speaking, and I start going “Y’know, this girl sounds like Charlet Chung (D.va’s VA)” but then I discard that thought since the guy is french and I ended up thinking “Nah, it’s probably a french chick that happens to sound like Charlet”

BOY WAS I WRONG when I decided to look it up today and she is in fact voiced by Charlet Chung

I heard Hanzo’s VA is in the show as well, there’s a bunch of overwatch VAs scattered across netflix, it’s so funny when you hear them in something else

I’ve seen (and heard) Cara Theobold here or there on TV. Tracer’s voice bugged the crap out of me for the longest time, then I watched some celebration video with the VA and boom “ohhhhhhhh so thats where I know that from”.

Tell me about it. Once you hear these people, you just can’t unhear it.

And also yep, Hanzo’s VA is in this show too (as a former-samurai-now-thieving-instructor…instructor)

They actually already made a cartoon out of it in the '90s, and in that one Jennifer Hale voiced one of the main characters.

I was unsurprised to find out Dee Bradley Baker was the hamster part of Wrecking Ball because you may know him as the voice of every animal in everything ever. Appa and Momo from The Last Airbender, Perry the Platypus from Phineas & Ferb, the list goes on.

And even though she’s near 50 years old right now she sounds exactly the same

I recently started playing Final Fantasy 15 and I really enjoyed gladiolus’ voice because it was very low and smooth so I decided to look up his voice actor and it turns out it’s Chris Parson, the same guy who voices Junkrat

I remember watching reruns of Cold Case and lo and behold Charlet Chung shows up on the screen as “Barbie Yen” trying to seduce one of the mover men in the episode.

Her mannerisms were EXACTLY like D.vas I couldn’t believe it :rofl:

Also, I can’t stop thinking of Reaper making that “BLALRBLALRBLALRBLALR” noise that Bloo made in the store wars episode.
