There’s a payload in the game?
Ideally you only have one player on the payload, or all 5. The rest to intercept further on ahead. You see, if the payload goes from 100 movement with 1 player to 110 movement with 3 players, there isn’t a very large speed gain. And isn’t worth putting so many players on it. And the payload only heals like 10 HP/s. Hardly enough to matter in most instances.
Sorry as a Widow main I have it on good authority that touching the payload will cause me to spontaneously combust.

I honestly never realized it moved faster.
1 person = 100.0% speed
2 people = 116.5% speed (100.0% speed + 100.0% x 0.165)
3 people = 133.0% speed (100.0% speed + 100.0% x 0.33)
At the same time, 4 people can keep an enemy team at a vital choke point for far longer than the distance you gain on letting the enemy team catch up to you faster. Enemies move at 5.5m/s, so they can close ground faster than payload increases with more people there.
On King’s Row 2nd point, you’d ideally have one person on cart that can heal up to the next corner. Your team is holding the corner putting pressure on the enemy team trying to come at your corner pushing them back. If you do it right, the payload will hit the corner, then you have the next group move up.
