Nah it is not that. The Orange Ball is purely a joke, it’s not anything that currently exists in the game. Imagine an extremely overpowered hero in Overwatch. It’s called Orange Ball.

If it is a placebo effect it would explain the numbers, I feel like I am doing 20% more damage but number wise does not show it.
