Don’t have to be a tank/support one trick to like role que, because we’re not the ones waiting 20 mins for a game because we refuse to play other roles. :smirk:

It’s true I became a one trick tank…but not because of 222…because as is and always has been the case…if one wants to win…one must carry…so you pick a carry. Learn …mehedumacate yourself…and climb.

I was naive to think a role q would make dps better communicators…they pretty much stayed the same.

What about flex players? Most self proclaimed flex players would have played dps given the opportunity before rq. It’s just they were forced into flexing if they wanted to gain sr. I’m the same way, I would have been a dps one trick if I didn’t want to win and that opened my eyes to the joys of other roles and actually learning the game, not just hero’s.

I was someone that only played Orisa, Rein, and Moira before role queue, because I could never trust my team to do it if I didn’t.

Now I can queue as DPS when I feel like it. So much better. I got to play DPS maybe 5 times in the last 2 years of competitive, and now I only have to wait 5 minutes for it in master on console? Sign me the hell up.

The people that hate role queue are the ones with such tiny brains that their attention is lost as soon as they’re not killing things.

I used to be dps main who flexed but since RQ I usually just play the roles based on their queue times yet not as a onetrick :man_shrugging:

So that’s one already, enough to prove you wrong.

I’m a DPS player and I like roleq. Before that I couldn’t actually play DPS since half the games there weren’t enough heals or we would have hog solo tank etc. Who cares if the queues were faster when you couldn’t effectively play the game? Unless you are a god tier widow player then most DPS require support from their team.

As dps with RQ you have now shields and heals, if they are not throwing.

Nothing is bad about role queue. I queue and play what I want and am able to do it - I’m by no means a one trick anything. I just think QP didn’t need role queue.

I play all 3 roles and I love role queue.

During Role Queue Beta I actually managed to get back to Platinum for the first time in several seasons.

Role Queue also means never again having to suffer 4+ DPS comps or solo tanks/heals (DPS healers notwithstanding).
