From watching the feedback thats the only answer i get
and i quote.
‘‘She can now be where she needs to be without time constraints’’
''She dosnt have to worry about timer ending ‘’
‘She is faster now’’
This is the old case of casual balancing , of lowering a skill floor and ceiling .
Yes new sombra is easyer but overall worst than before.
All the thing she can do now were doable before but theres some things you cant do now and thats why this is a nerf.
Now, some low rank bad sombra player could argue. ‘‘But what about the majority of the game , its unfair a few amount can get value with her’’
The answer is get good (and hope for real buffs) , Making a hero easyer is never the answer
Its like demanding aim assist for widow, no, get good.
And dont demand heros to be easyier to help the majority who didint spend time mastering a kit instead ask for REAL buff for weak heros
I agree with you to an extent but in the case of Sombra, she was consistently the least used hero and the lowest winrate hero. Meaning the very few people who used her couldn’t even use her properly the overwhelming majority of the time. I think in cases like that, making a hero less punishing to play is absolutely a good idea.
Exactly. I could see this argument for heroes like Tracer but it’s almost selfish to imply you want Sombra to stay just as unnecessarily difficult as she was because she never produced the same result as tracer
Yawn… no one cares… seriously. She was not that hard to play before and practically everyone even “pros” realized she needed changes. These might not be the changes you would like, but she is revised to fill a new role. LOL Blizz never said the changes were to make her easier… so the whole self-aggrandizing “git gud” bs is just that… bs.
I think the most counter intuitive thing is infinite stealth. If she can stay stealthed, it promotes gameplay which she stays, well, stealthed. And if shes not doing anything while stealthed, then the match becomes a 5v6. Im not exactly sure how that is beneficial long term in a match. I would say if they increased the duration she stayed stealth mightve been better, so you had more wiggle room to do things, but just making it infinite stealth means go to stealth and say in it till youre ready to do anything.
Except that among experienced players who see good Sombra play it becomes pretty obvious who is throwing… this point seems to be left out everytime this point comes up. As if anyone was seriously monitoring their Sombra teammates that closely before to see how much time they spent stealthed. Frankly I think its a red herring argument.
They aren’t forcing you to stay in stealth forever though?
The changes give Sombra the FREEDOM to play as you like. You can use the stealth for 6 seconds to get behind the Rein or you could use it for 12 seconds to get back to point. It’s up to you and how you use it will determine how good of a Sombra you are.
