Went 7-3 in placements and won a couple afterwards so sitting at a little over 2.8k. Had a game where I had 2 or 3 3.4k players on my team, it was an experience. Oh and I hate DF smurfs, worst kind IMO.
Only a few more days until Atlantic Mercy,I’m so hyped.

I touched Gold (SR 2012) for the first time ever 
at the end of Season 15 while doing a final grind for my 3rd Gold Gun (should be Moira but want some big and flashy … like Golden BOB!), and promptly stopped Comp cos I was afraid I would lose the next match 
Season 16 started off with SR 19++, then after some ups and downs got into 20++, now on a losing run so expect to drop down again.
Think I will stop Comp til after Archives, too stressed out…
Wonder if we will finally see Atlantic Mercy

Nice, sounds like you’re getting closer every game! Also, how exactly did the matchmaker put you with so many 3.4k players? Hopefully you held your own, those games with higher ranked players are always so stressful haha.
Totally agree on the DF smurfs too. When it’s a Tracer or Genji, I still feel like I can position myself better or at least prepare myself to call for peeling, but DF just tends to delete me out of nowhere.
Congrats on hitting gold! I used to get that feeling as well (a lot of people call it rank anxiety), but what helped me get over it is realizing that losing SR doesn’t mean anything unless you assign that number value. You know you’re good enough to be at least a gold player, that’s really all that matters. Just try to have fun with it - it is a game after all.
Ahhh, I just barely got enough tokens from the games last night to get it! Is it bad that I’m way more excited for this skin than I have been for the past few events?
Nah, not at all. This feels like redemption to me, having just missed the window to buy the Pink Mercy skin. Hands down the most excited I’ve been about the game in months.
Oof, that hurts to read. Honestly though, I think I like the all-star skin a bit more, not sure if pink Mercy will get much use from me once it’s out.
Hopefully they bring the pink skin back for a second time, I don’t really see any reason not to. It’s for such a good cause and it was so successful last time.

I did do alright that game. I did get the new Mercy skin unfortunately it seems to be bringing me bad luck. at least I finished on a win streak this morning so at least I’m not down too much. Can’t pinpoint why but I haven’t been playing up to my standards lately.
