Just some ranting ahead.
Solo Q has not been kind to me lately. A Sym who left after we didn’t hold 2nd on Anubis, which get this we rolled first point 5v6 couldn’t quite take 2nd though.I should note I had my most dmg amp’ed that game. A Sombra who kept using EMP when everyone was dead. Someone who waited until we pretty much won the first fight on defense on eichenwald to pick Hog as our solo tank. On attack we had instalock Reaper,Torb,Bastion and someone wasn’t keen(to be kind) on the picks. I knew odds were they weren’t going to switch so I asked if that person was any good with with Bap. You can see where the strat is going. We go through first two stages fairly easily, then the enemy counter-picked and…when I said we should get off the comp nobody switched,loss. Game this morning which was a close game, I call they’re going to grav and you can see where that went. Our Rein that game asked if our D.Va could play Zarya instead because we weren’t getting any value out of matrix, wasn’t eating grav or molten core, didn’t switch, Rein flames, the D.va left after first fight of the 3rd round(was on Oasis). They did rejoin but by that time it was too late. I could tell it wasn’t just a DC because the left team chat before hand. On top of all that I’ve been finding myself flexing the majority of the games so I can’t even really play what I’m best at.
Ooh but I did get my first ever potg with Genji in a comp match. Playing Mercy so much I tend to screw up my dashes becuase I’m so used to holding L1 for GA
Sorry to hear about the bad teams. That sort of stuff is one of the things that kind of puts me off when I think about returning to OW. But, grats on the potg!

dumb stereotypes are dumb, but sadly I don’t think they’ll go anywhere. Still, always nice to see those types proven wrong.
(I still get kinda annoyed at past experiences where like… no one’s countering the enemy pharah and I get accused of throwing since I switched off mercy, even though I did shut down the pharah… bleh!)
Tell me about it especially when you have 3 dps and none of them want to switch to hitscan. Like guys I don’t think Mei,Sym,Torb is working.

Welp it’s looking like I won’t hit diamond this season. On a slightly brighter side I got enough cp for another golden weapon. So now I’m the proud owner of golden shurikens/sword.

Her best skin in my opinion is the zhuque skin.
TBF all her skins are her best skins. We really need a random skin option.
This is also the only skin I like using the gold weapon with.

She is kind of boring when I do try to play her compared to Lucio. But if you feel like not aiming too hard and just stressing about pulling off the right rez and not dying.
Then thats how you should have it!
Understandable; with Lucio as my go to second healer, I can see where you’re coming from. They’re a kind of counterpoint to one another: where Mercy seeks to engage the fight by diving in with DPS, Lucio looks to prevent the fight by controlling the field through boops. Both mobile in their own right, as well: Lucio is a study in momentum while Mercy is a study in geometry.
