I think people are just weirded out by a picture of Mercy that looks like she’s 12 years old. She does look unusually young for a 37 year old, (more like 22.)
You’ve linked tons of great pics, I don’t think she looks Widowmakery in most of them.

Well, keep in mind that fanart is like fanfiction: it has nothing inherently to do with the character, rather it has to do with the artist thinking about the character. We had a picture last week which was well-drawn, but Mercy’s face looked like the face of a boy.
I think the amazing thing about Mercy is how many super-artists are interested in her. Most fanart is not of the quality that I see in Mercy fanart, I think a good number of these people are professional artists who either earn a living through art or are good enough to. So when you see fanart like this you might be put off due to great stuff Mercy gets drawn as, and this is more along the line of what you might see for Harry Potter and such.

Moira is totally do not want. Evil witches who work for Talon are do not want. Also, look at the job Mercy did on Genji and compare that to the job Moira did on Reaper. Night and day!
Also, Mercy’s chest is nicer than Moira’s. Those squishingtons are peerless. I am totally not biased about this.
moira is not evil, she just works for the highest bidder. i like the necrotic reaper. even if moira was flat as the board on wheel of fortune i would like her better because shes older and has a more angular face

Calling Moira unethical would be charitable. Mercy said that and Mercy is never wrong about anything.

Takes me back to my college days, when I learned the origins of the Arthurian legend. In the original Geoffrey of Monmoth “epic,” Arthur, Merlin, and their gang were basically nothing more than a gang of murderous thugs. But the legend has been augmented a lot through the centuries, and Arthur ended up being likeable and heroic. Trust me, in the original he was neither. Morisson and his Overwatch would have about as much like for them as they do for Talon.

Probably because they judge her by the content of her characters playstyle instead of the front of her cover.
