FF11 was well recieved y basically every1. Just they didnt have as many ppl as they wanted. (and at time was mainly because it was PS2 specific for half a year and you know how bad online games were with that console)
Also that game is infamous for having bosses so hard.
Some were so powerful they had to be nerfed just to have them beaten and others were SO beefy they took 18 HOURS + to beat.

I am biased, I have told you all before 7 is my absolute favorite game of all time.
But this is far from personal as I am sure many people feel the same.
We were force fed that trilogy. No one asked for it and don’t pretend to forget 15 was supposed to be yet another 13 sequel.

When we were learning about remake they told us it would be multiple parts so Remake part two was/isn’t a surprise. As far as I know druing the announcement of 13 they did not mention sequels.
Also lots of people already know how things are going to play out in FF7 so big events in Remake part 2 will not be a surprise. From what I recall about 13-2 no one knew what to expect.
A sequel is not the same as a continuation.

As hard as I try I cant remember a single one of them. I faintly remember riding a Chocobo.
They are minor mini games but I remember them to such a great degree.
You can have 10,000,000 side missions if they are all boring no one will remember.
I still remember where the last treasure piece is on the Chocobo hot and cold mini game on 9, what monsters to seal good cards from on 8. 13 did not have anything as memorable.
I did like the cut scenes on 13 but one can usally expect quality cut scenes from Square(and Blizzard).

11 was 1 of the worse. it was released on a system that made online play a hassle and required a sub (afaik only ps2 game to have a sub req.)
however 11 made $. it had servers upkept for AGES (only shut down couple years ago i think).
