Played a few games yesterday. I’m mid plat, ps4.
Won first three games. No stomps, but fairly easy wins as they say. Fourth game, I get put with a 5-stack of all plat players (low to mid plat) against a 6-stack with 3 diamonds (one of them almost masters), 2 high plats and 1 gold.
My team wont show up in team chat. Our Mercy keeps emoting during teamfights, possibly by accident. Who knows. The Junkrat on my team spends long instances in spawn, probably writing messages or something. Our main tank changed to Hog after first team fight lost.
I played Moira. I know medals don’t matter etc but in addition to gold healing I had gold kills with a relatively low number of kills.
Our team also didn’t really regroup, even tho they were in the same group. Apparently not the most communicative bunch.
Needless to say, we got slaughtered.
Although the new system of finding games quicker is efficient and all, I’d rather wait 3 minutes for a fair game than be thrown into these kind of situations right away. And it almost felt as if I was not supposed to win this game lol.

Forgot to mention that the gold player in the enemy team was playing Mercy, and pocketing the nearly masters Pharah all game.

Well, you won 3 and lost 1. I would be sitting pretty in Masters if i could do that. Just once.
Yeah, that’s true… But I KINDA feel like I wasn’t even given the opportunity to win the fourth game, if you know what I mean?
Besides, I’m sitting on a negative win rate for this season anyways.
negative? O_O I’ve never been below 60% but it still drives me up the wall… having to fight tooth and claw with all dps lockers or people who are so toxic.

Yeah I’m going against a ton of 6 stacks in my game. It really isn’t fun.
Yup… 30 games played this season, 16 losses / 14 wins. So not by a lot tho 
I just checked the other day, pretty much all of my accounts (not smurfing or anything btw, just into starting from scratch and coming up with stupid online names etc) have positive win rates on all seasons. So it’s all good.
The new matchmaking - as nice and fast as it is - seems a bit all over the place tbh. I get queued into facing 6-stacks a lot, and I basically only ever solo or duo queue.
Except the other day when I grouped up by request with 3 other players after a team DM went well, to play more team DM. Team leader decided then to queue into comp without asking, and as the matchmaking is so fast nowadays I didnt manage to leave the group quickly enough. Wasn’t happy about that. We lost the game, as having good team DM synergy does not mean having good comp synergy. If i recall correctly, that game also had us facing a 5-stack with a diamond in it. We were all plat / gold
