It actually feels like you’re cheating. Check my profile. I have 800 hours on Mccree. This isn’t blind Mccree hate, just unbiased criticism. As soon as we master consistently aiming at this ROF, it’s over for y’all. He’ll be braindead and he shoots so fast that you can’t heal through it.
Watch twitch.tv/WANTEDOW right now to see a top 5 Mccree destroy everyone on the PTR with it.

Top 500 Mccrees will be walking Widows when this hits comp. You’ll be dead before you can react.

Being a Pharah main keeps getting harder and harder. Enjoy the buff regardless

Yeah I’m sure players were doing a lot in that .1 seconds between getting killed.
The ROF upgrade comes out to a 25% increase in effective DPS. McCree (live) does 140 DPS, McCree (PTR) does 175, more than anyone else except Jakerat (200) and sentry Bastion (500).
The entire point of fan the hammer is that it traded high speed for accuracy–this change brings McLeftclick closer to McRightclick in raw DPS output, which doesn’t seem to be the problem McCree needed to have addressed.

Except it’s not because you aren’t always just holding the trigger down spamming bullets.
Somebody gave McCree the Mateba Automatic Revolver.
Maybe he’ll finally counter Tracer for real now.
He needed this, honestly. Reload is still the same, so people exaggerating as usual…

It feels really fun and broken at the same time.
And noobs will still use FTH

Maybe, but mccree’s always been pretty easy to shut down. Kind of his biggest flaw. No movement abilities means he needs to play in his team comp and be peeled for and flash bang is both inconsistent and on a horribly long cool down. Once he uses it, you’ve got 10 seconds to take him out with little worry. Kinda the same way flankers play into Ana.
nah it jusst feels awful to use
Nah Fth will now be ultimate BM move.

Its just like the pharah ROF buff. It feels like too much on paper, but it doesn’t do much once people get used to it.
Give it time.

That’s not how you spell Hanzo.

If you account for reload time then the RoF upgrade is just slightly over a 15% DPS increase.
So his actual DPS increase will be between 15% and 25% when we account for his reload and ability to roll/ult to get a quick reload.
