This man spent years nursing this game for us to enjoy and he did his absolute best to please everyone, but you just can’t! it’s utterly impossible. Have some respect, imagine how he is feeling right now? I imagine he has had enough of Activision always at his throat and now there are people on here trying to bring him down further as he walks away from the game he poured his heart and soul into.
I can imagine some of you aren’t mentally mature enough to put yourself into his shoes, the man did great and I think you should open your eyes and see how much he has done for us and defending us against what Activision wanted to turn this game into.
I hope one-day he becomes the lead director of a game I could sink my hands into.
I just hope it doesn’t become riddled with Microtransactions and I don’t think I can watch a developer update without hearing “Hey guys, it’s Jeff from the Overwatch team.”
Jeff was the only person left that I knew who was a veteran and an inspiration. I have no idea who is at Blizzard anymore so it gives me a lot of uncertainty about the future of Overwatch and Overwatch 2.
Secondly people who use this forum to express real life problems are 100% attention seeking because if you know this forum site people don’t want you to discuss real life problems on a gaming platform

A game I have been playing since beta of course I’m going to be worried about the direction it is heading because I have passion for it.
Overwatch has had impact on my life so with a lot of others so I’m not sure why your trying to be so passive aggressive. Your the literal Loser who wanted to attention seek so here I am.
Here I have found friends and here I have had fun playing games and I have enjoyed the stories that came with this game.

I think the model can work, but I just don’t want to see it become the point where trying to achieve something takes an ungodly amount of grinding where your paying money to save time. I saw a ton of that with Black Desert Online and Genshin Impact and dont’ want to get involved with that. Those games tried to make you play daily. I want an experience I can set down, the pick back up instantly. Not be a slave to it every day if there was something I wanted to achieve.
Season passes are kind of depressing. Overwatch’s take on weekly events I think are fine if still a bit depressing. Having time gated content sort of sucks. Especially if you offer a LOT of it. Most of Paladin’s content is time gated and season passes. No longer to be gotten.
i absolutely agree, it made me so pissed off as it hasnt even been a day and people are already being so horrible. this is jeffs life and if he doesnt want to work for blizzard anymore then we need to respect his decision. he did an amazing job on the game.
