The Most Powerful Tool in OW

So there is a wide variety of weapons, tools, abilities, and mechanics in Overwatch. You have powerful one-shot weapons like Hanzo’s bow and Widow’s rifle, powerful burst damage ultimates like Junk’s tire and D’va’s self-destruct, and disabling abilities like hack and the beloved shield bash.

In my opinion, the most powerful tool is Ana’s bionade. This ability, when used well, is game-changing and, dare I say, more powerful than many ults. When you can deny the enemy healing, you essentially take one, two, or three heroes out of the fight. I don’t know about you, but when I see purple I get aggressive because it is time to do some damage. And now for the kicker, her bionade also heals one or a group of allies.

So objectively, I feel like Ana’s bionade is the most powerful tool in Overwatch when compared to all abilities, weapons, and ultimates. So what do you think is the most powerful tool in Overwatch?

Genji’s Swift Strike. Cooldown resets whenever some one you’ve touched dies. High damage high speed long range, no aiming.

Thinking about Genji’s swift strike makes me cringe, and it has almost nothing to do with the fact that I hate Genji more than any other hero.

I’d say its between ana’s nade & sombra’s EMP

Widows venom mine.

Orisa’s ult is really underrated imo. It stacks with every other buff/debuff and pumps up some scary numbers on characters like Sombra, McCree and Soldier.

A naded trans is a sad sight.

For my team, at least.

Meanwhile, I’m Zoomyatta’ing the heck outta there.

Not when you’re still off in the corner playing minesweeper with their Hammond.

Mercy’s current rez. Reversing a death is pretty invaluable. It negates anything that went into securing the kill no matter how much or little went into it. I frequently call it the strongest ability in the game.

My vote is for the +10 heals per second you get by being near payloads while you are on attack.

The uninstall button

Id say it’s a tie between block, mute, and avoid as teammate.

Shield bash. There are lots of similarly powerful tools, but nothing at a similar power level has anywhere near that kind of ready availability and ease of use.

Your brain. 9 characters required.

When comes to player’s hands, I would say blink. Being really good with your movement is one of the main important skill onto being a good Tracer. Dodging lethal abilities, disorienting enemies, jumping to unreachable platforms, etc.

But team wise…

A good Ana landing her bio-nades on key target almost always guaranteed a winning fight. It is also a good way to beat goats comp although the Ana has to be really good at finding ways to bypass all the shielding and DM from D.va.

Sure, for about a second before Doomfist or Genji unpreventably destroys it.

I play a lot of Orisa, and I view the ult as being pretty bad, almost certainly the worst ult in the game and easily worse than the closest equivalent, Valkyrie.

I would say Moira’s fade. Keeping the healer alive is important, and fade lets you escape nearly anything. It lets you escape basically every ult in the game, and even bait and waste some, like Riptire.
