Can you guess who it is? Junkrat. The stupid, idiot rat. Before his recent buffs he was a good character yes brainless and easy to play but he was manageable. Now I see just even more braininess and idiot activity with him. His recent buffs hade him OP (yes I said it). Yes, he could be countered but if your team is too stubborn or not good enough he basically has mindless spams and and now with the recent mine buff I’m seeing more one shot combos then ever. He shoots a grenade then throws mine with incredible speed. Boom, dps/healer going back to spawn. Before is was a bit easier to not get combo one shot but now its almost impossible. People complain about doom having one shot but the is even worse. technically it isn’t a one shot but its as fast as one. I’m just saying there need to be something done, not enough to make him bad, just enough to make manageable once again
As someone who duos with a recovering one trick junkrat a few times a week this is false.
The amount of times he’s forced to swap because of echo pharah pog zaraya or any hitscan is astounding.
Yeah, but op is talking about when stubborn dps refuse to counter. Not sure what tanks or supports meant to counter him. Maybe a Bap or Ana with super good aim?
In my bronze tank games he’s incredibly easy to get value with. If my dps go Ashe, Soldier, Widow and enemy have a Mei, Junkrat, etc, it is a nightmare game as I know my dps on high skill heroes won’t do anywhere near as good as dps on brain dead heroes.
In my experience as tank you go zaraya get max charge and POG.
For supports Ill go bap to shutdown tire and get squishy through choke.
Lucio to speed boost through choke count down for your team and say “go” when you’ve destroyed trap and know he is reloading (ie after he shoots last shot).
Mercy is also useful for Rez if someone dies to spam in a spot before choke and usually dps will go pharah or echo if you ask as mercy.
Make all his grenades sticky. Then he’d have to aim. lol
