I don’t think RMB is actually doing that much damage. You have to charge it & it has a travel time. The DPS is hard to gauge since the distance is never the same.
I’m surprised this many people would rather have range over more damage. Let Zarya, the tank, have the range to be a tank. Let Symmetra, the DPS, the damage to be a threatening DPS. 180dps doesn’t cut it. I love McCree, but he can deal 280 damage in a second with 2 headshots which isn’t hard to hit on tanks or stunned targets. I don’t see why Sym can’t get a damage buff
