They need Nerf ANA grenade to avoid that “Negate healing” and they need nerf IF of baptiste.
Even if you buff Moira a lot. People will use ana/baptiste combo for the utility
I’d rather have her lingering heals back. That was a big part of her identity.
This sounds incredibly fun, but it’d make those who mastered fade jump feel pretty bad.
Just make fade jump easier and able to interact with more objects so its a more consistent strategy imo.
So we start off with “this sounds incredibly fun” and then go with a “but” for a reason for a tech with is quite literally used once maybe every 100 games by moiras mains so I wouldn’t really call it a reliable tech anyway.
Just imagine if you went upwards diagonally pressed q and kamehameha’d the enemy team from 50ft up in the air. That sounds fantastic to me.
This would make all her tech some high Moira mains mastered useless.

Sometimes I watch a Top500 Moira main on Twitch and they use it in every game.
Well yeah, that’s my point. Instead they should just make it a reliable tech. Learning techs is always fun, that’s why people love playing doomfist and mercy.
Unless they change the entire physics of the game, you won’t get fade jumps to be a reliable source of mobility. At least not for anyone outside of maybe the top 10/15 moiras in the world. Which is kinda dumb considering it’s a very fun thing to do having it made so unreliable to the point where you have to be a literal moira god just to use it semi consistently.
Been seeing a lot of moira played in owl playoffs rn, and haven’t seen a single fade jump.
The issue with moira is that she has no utility.
She can survive but that doesn’t mean much when literally all you bring to the table is decent healing.
It does still linger my dude.
If she Fades unto you, it does 150 damage. There, better buff and more in line with what OW2 is trying to do.
Honestly this should apply for Reaper and Doomfist too tbh
This fade buff would literally be utility in the form of mobility.
mobility is in the same vein as survivability. sure, its technically utility but realistically, how much are you helping the team by being able to take high ground as moira?
she needs actual utility. unless she’s got absolutely broken healing, she will never be able to compete with ana or bap.
She has competed with them in the past in double shield meta. She doesn’t need utility abilities comparable to Ana and bap. She just needs strengths where Ana and bap are lacking. Which is mobility.
the last time I remember moira being meta was in a rush comp. the comp relied on just overwhelming the enemy team and high healing output was all that was necessary and even in that meta bap was a close second.
what double barrier meta are you talking about? was it a bunker style one or the more recent sig rein?
this just isnt true. bap has mobility. ana has just as much survivablity and they both have comparable healing output along with their utility.
lets say you do give moira more mobility, what does it change? she can be played with dive a bit better? thats nice but why would you pick moira over being able to engage with nano? if a dive results in the moira needing to use her high healing output then the dive was unsuccessful and an anti nade would have been of more value. if the dive doesn’t need her high healing output then why are you playing her?
there is no situation where moira is better than ana or bap simply due to the fact that they do more than heal.
