Not once has blizzard said anything on the megathread and locks and moves any questions to blizzard on mercy to it. Even the one time blizzard responded to something on mercy it wasn’t on the megathread. We need a clear response on what the megathread is because right now it looks like an attempt to sweep criticism under the rug and pretend people are happy about mercy.

Ever since the megathread was created i stopped posting threads about mercy i’ve given up.
She’s fine balance wise and people would be pissed if blizzard said so even there are hero’s in worse spots

Actually ,the mercy megathread is very important ,it’s here so that we don’t keep having the main page filled with mercy threads.
Even though mercy mains know their threads will get thrown into the trash ,they still insist on posting in the general discussion, now imagine what it’ll look like if there was no megathread
To be honest, if the devs are intent on not putting back in multi-rez, it’s kinda pointless to spend that much energy spamming.

I also wonder what the point of it is after this long, I mean it’s been up since January right? Honestly everything has already been said by now and if there is something new no one is going to read through all of those posts to see it anyway.

Enough people are upset about the changes that removing the megathread would force them to create a sub forum, live with the fact that the general discussion would be talking about Mercy every day, or delete and lock posts constantly and risk the potential backlash/bad press.
The megathread also helps downplay complaints about Mercy as you’ll notice a significant % of it is a few dozen people posting a between 100 and 500 times.
While basically no video game forum looks really great, if your game’s forum looks to be significantly worse than normal it might cause potential purchasers or people considering to advertise/invest in an Overwatch team pause.

But we don’t know that they are; the only info we have is that they don’t want to revert Mercy as of 3 months ago.

I mean, it’s been clear from the get-go that the intent of the mega-thread is just to clean up the front page of the forums in a way that doesn’t completely block people from bringing up the subject in general.
The only debate is whether or not they’ve been justified in doing so.

The point of the megathread is to consolidate all the Mercy threads into one thread because the entire front page of the forums would be all about Mercy.
Some of us want to look at stuff that’s not about Mercy for a change. She’s not the only hero.

If the entire front page is about Mercy, they did something wrong with the rework. The Mercy thread is a trash bin so people think everything is fine, that’s pretty much all it’s for.

At this point the mega thread is a waste bin. 
There;s so much stuff in that thread…I wouldn’t be surprised if it stays up till next hero release, only to be quietly deleted–and when the community asks what happened, there will be silence.
I’m not speaking from experience on the WoW forums or anything.

The mega thread actually harms any meaningful discussion now due to the slow performance of the new forums. The mega thread is practically impossible to follow because when you try to scroll it ends up skipping hundreds of messages due to forum stutter…
I think it is time to lock the mega thread, or create a new one, or fix the forum performance when scrolling… Bringing back the page system rather than scrolling would be a simple fix too as pages were a lot better…

But they’re probably more upset that blizz still locks posts to a megathread when she’s not on their radar. I think that’s the problem.
Thing is, lots of Mercy mains like the rework. This forum is VERY vocal about her for some reason. No one else seems to care which leads to me believe it’s just a very vocal minority on these forums.
It’s tiresome. I understand you guys are frustrated but when the same 10 people make threads over and over again it gets irritating.
