- screw around in a deathmatch/parkour lobby for 10 minutes trying to have fun
- emote to randos and try to make friends to pass the time
- check the clock
- it’s been 10 min and no game
- so boredddddd
- start watching netflix on my phone or jump off the cliff over and over
- another 10 min later finally get into a game
- someone instalocks mercy
- ask them politely, 50/50 chance they’ll switch
- yay finally time to start, can’t wait!! i love building sets
- teammates blaming/cursing at each other for every problem
- try to keep positive in chat
- get absolutely rolled 0-4
- awarded mvp on my team
- awarded no hero xp for loss
- demotion protection
- that’s enough OW for maybe the next week or so
- repeat this exact experience 2 more times in a row

For some reason, Support queue is very long! It suddenly got very popular it seems!

wouldnt be the case if we had more heroes thaz hunt supports. we have 1.
Yet support has something for every single playstile on top of beeing rather strong.
add sombra, tracer, doom, ball, monke and watch support q time drop below 1 min.
only add poke and you get 39min support q.
brawl is basically the same.
tank vs tank, nobody attacking the supports.
I too would play support, it has 3 to 4 supports for me.
tank has 1 (Z tier) and dps has absolutely nothing.
and oh look at that roadmap foe 2026, not 1 single dive hero. yej.
but hey we get Aqua… another support.
prepare for 2h q times.
Name a support that is scared of junkrat… so glad we get him so toast and thw 3 junk mains can q dps.

Good point, you’re right that it’s a very poke-heavy starting lineup. I wonder if Blizzard chose those since they didn’t know too well how Stadium’s perks would pan out and if dive would end up becoming too oppressive with the addition of the armory.
That’s because Mercy is too strong and easy to play in Stadium right now. She’s my favorite hero, too, but I won’t use her in Stadium as long as pocketing hitscan in that mode is this broken. It just makes me feel guilty.
You’ll have a better experience if you branch out into more roles and heroes. Support queues are staying long until either more support-murdering heroes are introduced or Mercy is nerfed.
I’ll add you - I play support and you’ll never have to worry about me picking Mercy. No promises about how the rest of the randoms on our team perform but at least you’re guaranteed who you want to play lol

You forgot to spawn “some one call the Wambulance” . Try it and your lobby waiting time will shrink to 8 minutes. Trust me, talking from experience

That ‘‘watching netflix on the phone’’ completely summarized Mercy gameplay, and i’m not talking about practice range only.
Ask blizzard to add more heroes that are a threat to supports
They are still the most overturned role and when stadium has…genji to pressure them of course everyone wants to play that role when they have zero enemy heroes pressuring them.
Would love to see what they do with doomfist or venture in stadium, and despite my distaste for her tracer could be crazy cool
Soldier and Cassidy can instantly delete flying and ground-based supports. I imagine Reaper and Mei have a harder time with the ones that fly.
